Not a bad French crime movie. A grade B film, certainly not a masterpiece and directed by the same dude who gave us 13 DZAMETTI eleven years ago, and also a couple of other films, including the remake of 13...This film is less interesting than 13 although being an efficient piece of work. No length nor boredom here. The story of a gang of petty thugs who decide to rob the villa of a wealthy but ruthless and rotten politician involved in mob business. They rob dirty money in a tale where no one is totally cleaned. Tense, sharp and fast screenplay, with a convincing editing and performances. Benoit Magimel is very good as the hired killer, but not as terrific as Takeshi Kitano was in GONIN - a rather similar character. Unfortunately, some scenes are really awkward, such as this one where the hoods prevent one of the characters to commit suicide by hanging. I guess that a guy who stood a few seconds with the noose around his neck and his feet with nothing Under, I don't think that dude could recover so fast; if not recovering at all !!!
Besides that totally unbelievable sequence, and I would say laughable scene, this is definitely a worth film which the last image provides something very unusual.
