The film begins in a night club with a clandestine gaming lounge.The owner asks Helga, a bar hostess to get some datas about a man who comes every day for gambling and is loosing a lot a money.Helga enters in the life of Erich Rieger, a depressed widower who can not live without gambling and begins to feel empathy for him.On the same time the brother of Erich has been shooted in a parking.A criminal investigation with a lot of surprises.Very good performance of Cornelia Froboess (Helga) and Gerd Anthoff (Erich) .
