Madam Li's plan backfired because Yang and Jiu came to rescue Thian and Lady Phin. Jiu took Thian away from the manor to live together. Yang thought that Jiu kidnapped Thian for Mr. Ma. He found out his mother's involvement with Mr. Ma.
Mr. Song ordered his men to search for Thian. Dr. Qi made the antidote for Ah Jia's poison and planned to go back to Song's manor. But madam Li intercepted him. Thian tried to contact his home to let his family know that he's safe.
Thian found out that Jiu is Mr. Ma's subordinate. Heartbroken, he went home. Jiu sneaked into Song's manor to bring Thian back. On his way out, Jiu got poisoned by madam Li. Then she tried to kill Yang to keep Thian's secret safe.
Lady Phin saved Jiu and gave him shelter at her house. Madam Li and Mr. Song agreed to marry Thian with Mat. Thian decided to go along with the fake marriage. Madam Li and Ah Jia attacked Mr. Ma to try and kill him.
Mr. Song announced Thian's marriage and succession as the 5 Dragons' leader. Chan exposed Thian's secret at the association meeting. Thian planned to take the fall for his mother's murder case. But then Mr. Ma laid siege to Song's manor.

The rescue mission succeeded, with a steep price. Chan made peace with madam Li, turning over a new leaf. The Song family prepared for Yang and Lady Phin's wedding. Thian decided to leave the manor and live with Jiu and his siblings.
