After the autopsy of Brent Kelly, Dr. Robbins is frustrated with the mysterious death of the man since it is the third in a few days that he is not able to resolve. Brent's mother Darla claims that her son had seizures and she tried to revive him. Dr. Robbins convinces Catherine to go with him to interview Darla again, but Catherine is attacked by Darla that bites her hand and drops dead. Soon Dr. Robbins learns that the victims died of rabies and the only point in common is a tattoo parlor owned by Dr. Shaw, a former coroner from Reno. Meanwhile, Greg and Riley investigate the death of Kayla Nootens, who was found dead under the truck of her neighbor that called the police. Greg follows the blood trail until the house of Diana and Rhonda. They explain to Greg and to Det. Vartann that they were participating with Kayla of a diet competition and they suspect of Kyla's ex-boyfriend Elvis Rodriguez.
"The Gone Dead Train" is an episode of "CSI" with two segments: the first one is great, with mysterious cases and surprising resolution. The wonderful soundtrack with blues songs is a plus in this show. The second case is average and predictable. My vote is seven.
