- Quotes
Jim Rockford: This is Jim Rockford. At the tone leave your name and message, I'll get back to you.
Caller: This is Mrs. Lindus. Three times this month I came to clean and it always looks like people been fighting in there. Furniture broken, things tipped over. I'm sorry, but I quit!

Rockford takes Seattle
In what is another solid installment of a great series, our hero is hired, or should I say begged, to help find a woman who's presumably dead but is possibly in Seattle of all places. The one doing the hiring is Hector Elizondo, who's once again very good as usual, as he and Rockford are old war buddies. I think he was very fond of Jennifer(Pamela Hensley), as she was a top model for him; he's a fashion photographer who doesn't believe she was killed in a car accident as the authorities do. Thayer David(Rocky)has a small role as Carl Birrell, who basically looks like an albino(he just about played the same albino role in 1976's Eiger Sanction)who wants this woman dead because he thinks she killed his nephew, which it turns out she did, of course. Ken Swofford also stars as a fellow investigator in Seattle, as you'll see his face in other episodes in future seasons. After John(Elizondo)is killed, Rockford indeed goes to Seattle to locate Jennifer; Hensley's acting is below average compared to James Garner's, who can play with a range of emotions. Listen for Rockford to utter the "that doesn't make any sense" line here, as he says this many times during the entire run of the series. It's always fine seeing scenes with Rocky and Dennis, and we get a few here. Speaking of Seattle, and according to the credits, nothing was filmed there, but at least the producers filmed a scene with rain. Rockford eventually figures out that the woman did indeed kill the nephew for her own personal reasons, and following a mini car chase and being shot at by her, he finally catches up to her, and won't fall for her charm. This is a fine episode which I would recommend for Rockford fans.
