Arriving right in time for the Merc with the Mouth's return to the big screen in Deadpool & Wolverine, Rob Liefeld returns with his final Wade Wilson saga this August: Deadpool Team-Up.
The five-issue series will serve as the legendary writer and artist's final blockbuster story; no one captures the Merc with the Mouth's lovable insanity like Liefeld, and in classic Deadpool fashion, Wade is holding nothing back in this latest round of unbridled action and high-stakes adventure.
In addition to featuring Deadpool’s supporting cast - from his fan-favourite allies to deadly enemies and everyone in between - Deadpool Team-Up also sees Wade assemble a crew that's wild even by his standards.
When you need some hired hands, Deadpool is your man. However, when the Merc with a Mouth needs assistance, he's got friends (and frenemies) from across the Marvel Universe. In the series, we'll watch as Liefeld weaves...

Deadpool & Wolverine may still be a couple of months away, but Marvel Studios has been pulling out all the stops in recent weeks to build excitement for the highly anticipated team-up.
Entertainment Weekly is the latest outlet to sit down with director Shawn Levy and managed to get a few new details out of the filmmaker regarding his approach to what's looking like a long list of cameos.
"I'll say we didn't start off with a wishlist," he admits. "From the day we started devising this Deadpool and Wolverine story, we let the story dictate the characters, not the other way around. Aaron and his return as Pyro was an outgrowth of that, and that applies to pretty much all the characters you'll see in the movie."
This might be a sign to temper expectations, particularly when it comes to some of the wilder rumours out there about who...

Has there ever been a more bonkers superhero than Deadpool? Equal parts violent and zany, this lethal mercenary, also known as the "Merc with a Mouth," first appeared in the "New Mutants" comic series in December 1990, albeit as a villain. Created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza, Deadpool (aka Wade Wilson) went on to star in his own mini-series. He eventually gained notoriety for his dark humor, meta-commentary, and affinity for breaking the fourth wall. Over the years, Deadpool has teamed up with or battled alongside Marvel's hero gallery and has since become one of the brand's most popular characters. In fact, according to Gitnux Marketdata Report, he's the most liked character on Facebook. So take that, Iron Man!
The release of 2016's "Deadpool," starring Ryan Reynolds as Wilson, further cemented the character's popularity. Uniquely, this was the actor's second stint in the role, though the less said about his...

An animated series based on Among Us has cast several prominent actors to voice the characters inside the multi-colored spacesuits.
Randall Park, Ashley Johnson, Yvette Nicole Brown and Elijah Wood will star in the series from CBS Studios and the video game’s developer, Innersloth. The show, which doesn’t have an outlet attached yet, will follow a similar premise as that of the game: The crew of a spaceship tries to find an alien shapeshifter who’s impersonating and killing crew members.
Park (WandaVision, Always Be My Maybe) will voice Red, the people-pleasing, blowhard captain of the Skeld ship. Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us video game, Blindspot) plays Purple, the ship’s suspicious and sarcastic head of security. Brown (Community, Apple’s Central Park) will play Orange, the head of Hr. Wood (Yellowjackets, The Lord of the Rings) will play Green, an unpaid intern.

Richard Donner's 1985 adventure film "The Goonies" has a passionate following of young men who fell in love with it at an early age. Like Steven Spielberg's "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," "The Goonies" was exceptionally adept at depicting 11-year-old boys as crass, sloppy, clumsy imps. Unlike the mini-adults one might encounter in most family movies, the kids in "The Goonies" talked over each other, cussed openly, made gross jokes, and were unabashedly mean to one another. The main characters of "The Goonies" may be friends, but they would rather rag on each other, bicker, scream, and pull cruel pranks than admit camaraderie. Some find these kinds of characters to be refreshingly authentic.
The casual cruelty of the Goonies is on most brazen display near the start of the film. Several young boys are gathering together at a suburban home — one they'll have to move away from soon — for fun times and casual play.

Ryan Reynolds has fans on their toes with each new update on Deadpool 3. Although the actor has played many impressive roles in his career spanning more than three decades, the most memorable of these unsurprisingly happens to be his role as Deadpool. Much to everyone’s delight, he has never failed to impress the fans with his performance as the Merc with a Mouth.
Even with fans’ love for superhero movies waning, Deadpool seems to be a character that no one gets enough of. Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine in the upcoming Deadpool movie has added to the excitement for its release. That being said, this is a good chance to redeem one of the X-Men villains, who was wronged in 2017’s Logan.

If you thought Hugh Jackman reprising Wolverine aka Logan for Deadpool 3 was exciting, leaked set photos now show the return of Sabretooth, as played by original portrayer Tyler Mane. Reports (via @danielRPK) have also come in that Toad will also be in the movie with Ray Park again assigned to the character.

Spoilers for the "Loki" season 2 premiere follow.
When news first dropped that Ke Huy Quan was officially joining the MCU in the second season of "Loki" (check out /FIlm's review), longtime fans of the beloved actor could hardly contain themselves. After bursting back through the gates of Hollywood after winning the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his multi-layered performance in "Everything Everywhere All At Once," the continuation of the Quan-naissance was all but assured.
For a certain generation, Quan will always be immortalized as a certain archeologist's sidekick in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" and, perhaps even more revered for his role as the bumbling young inventor Data in Richard Donner's "The Goonies." Along with all the other neighborhood kids from the wrong side of the tracks, Data teamed up with Mikey, Mouth, and Chunk to uncover the pirate treasure hidden by One-Eyed Willie to save their childhood homes.

Fans of the 2022 existential romp, Everything Everywhere All at Once may wonder if they’ve seen the face of Waymond Wang before. In fact, they probably did. Actor Ke Huy Quan starred in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom when he was a teenager.
Now 51, a Golden Globe winner, and an Oscar nominee, Quan says he always wanted to revisit one of his ’80s movies characters but never got the chance. Which role would he happily play again? Here’s what we know:
Movie-goers still recognize Ke Huy Quan 30 years later
Moviegoers got their first glimpse of Quan when his character, Short Round, tried to pick Indiana Jones‘ pocket at the Gung Ho bar in Shanghai. In lieu of having the boy arrested on the spot, Jones captured him with a snap of his bullwhip.
The adventure of a lifetime. Nearly 40 years after Indiana Jones and the Goonies, Ke Huy Quan & Steven Spielberg reunite.

Richard Donner's 1985 film "The Goonies" has found itself ensconced deep within the consciousness of a certain generation of film fans. On the one hand, "The Goonies" is a straightforward Spielbergian adventure story (Steven Spielberg served as the film's executive producer) about a bunch of suburban kids, spending their final weekend together before all their homes are foreclosed, following an ancient treasure map to a lost pirate ship full of gold. Notably, Donner captured how chaotic, crass, and rude kids can be.
"The Goonies" is loaded, by design, with obnoxious kid chatter and light cussing. The titular Goonies, all of them hovering around age 11, like each other but also kind of dislike each other, and are addressed by their clubhouse-style nicknames. The inventor character is called Data (Ke Huy Quan), the jokester is called Mouth (Corey Feldman), and, most rudely, the overweight character is named Chunk (Jeff Cohen).

You can see this with movies like the 2014 "Robocop" or 2021's "Ghostbusters: Afterlife," although the movies' quality and financial success may vary.
One movie that seems ripe for the picking for Hollywood executives seeking a second swimming pool is 1985's "The Goonies." The story of a group of young boys searching for a pirate's treasure in order to save one of their houses from foreclosure, the movie has a place in the hearts of elder millennials everywhere.
While the more foolishly optimistic among us may want to see a reboot of the beloved movie, Corey Feldman, who played "Mouth" in the original, has no interest in seeing the film remade. At the Fanboy Knoxville convention,...
