Sex & Nudity
-
- Some mildly suggestive choreography in the background during "Rebound"
- A few non-explicit references to sex.
Violence & Gore
-
- During "Rebound," The Artist gets thrown around by her boyfriend, slapped a couple times, he punches a glass wall and his fist bleeds.
- After a glass house explodes, The Artist walks barefoot on broken shards of glass, which causes her feet to bleed.
- A young girl is seen with some bruises and cuts on her face. More symbolic than realistic.
- A gun falls out of the younger boyfriend's pants and clatters on the floor. More humorous than anything.
Profanity
-
- 3 spoken F-words, "goddamn" is used once in a song, a handful of other profanities (mostly "shit") are used occasionally throughout, both spoken and in song lyrics.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- The Artist and her much younger boyfriend walk in, seemingly drunk. The boyfriend holds and drinks from a beer bottle.
- In "Rebound," the boyfriend is seen holding and drinking from a bottle of whisky or some type of liquor, which has obviously turned him into a mean drunk.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- Some explosions and other surrealistic mild peril during the heart factory scene ("Hearts & Flowers").
- A brief, non-graphic sequence of a motorcycle crashing.
- The "Rebound" sequence is emotionally intense, as it involves some elements of domestic abuse and the emotional trauma related to a toxic relationship.
