Wounds (2019)
Not worth the watch - slow and no plot
The premise was really intriguing, in writing, but the execution was poor. The story was slow, and there was no explanation behind it. In fact, barely any presence of the plot in the film itself.Give it a miss.
Ghost Stories (1997)
Fantastic Series
This was a great series, and made with much enthusiasm and care, which let the story unfold in a subtle manner. I loved the opening credits with the narrator's voice. It was very effective.
For anyone that is in the UK, and has SKY TV, the series are being shown over and over on The Horror Channel (321). They start at 2:30pm until 4:00pm. Then start again at 5:00pm until 6:00pm. Then start again at 7:30pm until 9:00pm.
I hope that some of you comment on this show as it was a great asset to television, and was not cheesy, it has a sort of, wow, who thought of that story? It must have taken some wide amount of effort to put paper onto camera.
10/10!!
Watership Down (1978)
This is a great film
This film is really touching, and really makes you think about how our actions reflect / affect the environment, and the animals. The saddest moment(s) of the movie have to be when Hazel is shot, and 'Bright Eyes' plays in the background, it made me really upset, as my rabbit had died recently, and it fitted the content of that scene.
The other saddest part was when Hazel had grown old, and there was a new generation of rabbits. Presumably, the others had passed away, and Hazel laid down, and his youthful spirit joined the black rabbit of death. Although he was peaceful and happy, it was still sad.
The original movie poster with the contrasting black rabbit is somewhat creepy. I don't know if it just me or not though. This movie is fantastic, and is a great wonder for all ages. 10/10.
