I don't get the ludicrous tirade. The Prequels are still FAR worse. The Last Jedi is better than what people bash it/praise it for(But not the best movie)
1 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Yes, I get it. The Last Jedi is not perfect. It has cheesy moments like the Leia poppins scene, Luke milking a space cow(TMI!), Rose's cheesy line about "saving who we love instead of fighting who we hate", The Maz Kanata hologram, Snoke killed off "too early, etc..... But these are not the problems in the grand scheme of things. The first 4 issues I listed are nothing more than an equivalence of a pimple on a beautiful girls face. The First Order are even more ruthless and cold-blooded than the Empire(my jaws LITERALLY dropped as soon as the dreadnought made a dramatic entrance), They added more layers Luke's character arc(the realism at the fact that he made a dreadful mistake having the thought of striking down Kylo Ren makes me enjoy Luke's character even more. Thats realism for ya. Humans making mistakes.) Rey I understand why people are angry that she has not lost a lightsaber fight - but the grand scheme of things is that she DID fail. Her whole main goal was to turn Kylo Ren back to the light since she was too over confident within herself given that she knew the story of Darth Vader redemption prompting her to do the same with Kylo only to get in more disagreements when they met in person. She may have PHYSICALLY won against Snoke's guards(She struggled against 1 guard at a time while it was easy for Kylo to take down 3 at once) but in the grand scheme of things she overall lost. She failed to turn Kylo Ren back to the light. She failed to do what Luke succeeded in doing in ROTJ. That convinces me she is far from a Mary Sue. A ton of other people say that instead of Holdo doing that sacrifice it should have been the meme character Admiral Ackbar - But these fanboys are not understanding that out knowledge of Holdo isn't any different from Ackbar. I get the fact it was a missed opportunity but don't you all think that it would have been strange that someone with the last name "ACKBAR" did a suicide action like that....? I shouldn't have to explain why.... Cause anybody with a functioning brain would know what I am referring to.... Anyways... I cannot wait until 19 years from now in the year 2037 EVERYONE will get over and grow out of their hate and appreciate this film's existence. Right now everyone is going on a tirade about how its such a "sellout film" but once time moves forward - everyone is going to appreciate this film more as the years go by. Luke's projection on Crait will go down as one of the best moments in cinema history. For now this film is shat on 24/7. But it won't be controversial for long once everybody grows onto it. I absolutely LOVE the scene where he looks at the binary sunset one last moment before he dies. A New Hope he started off as a farm boy wishing to become more than he already is - to become a hero. Then in The Last Jedi - he dies protecting the last of the Resistance and looks at the binary sunset one last moment before he dies. So powerful. It made me cry. I was hoping Luke would not die. But I am glad he died they way he did. Because I would have been dreading if he were killed by the villains.

Skyline (2010)
2/10
It had potential. But was utter garbage.
8 May 2017
No Plot. No Character No Explanations No Nothing Another one of those "Hey, We don;t care about our story - Just pay attention to our amazing visuals!" Movies. Nothing is explained(EX: Alien Mothership repairing itself. that was dumb....), Characters are nothing special, You name it. The trailer even had more story than the actual movie itself considering they actually recap a plot and backstory behind this mess of a film. However I wouldn't entirely pass Beyond Skyline because I can see potential in the next installment. Its no wonder even when I was 13 I wasn't excited when I left the theater. I forgot about it 1 hour later. I would have liked it more if they did a backstory and plot like how the trailer described. Terrible execution.

An amazing show for all ages whether Male or Female
7 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
If you think this is only mean't for kids, Then you are terribly mistaken. Don't mistake the MLP generation with the previous. This show is now actually here to tell us a story with well developed characters rather than just having only girly elements and only trying to sell toys like the previous generation. Because this show this time is not One Dimensional. I love the cute animation, I love the story that's easy to understand and invest in, I mostly love Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, I love the writing, plot, script, and tones they take with this show. If even adult males love this show then that must tell you that its really THAT good (Kinda like how women are into Star Wars)

When I was 15 years old in 2012(20 now) I was just discovering the massive love for My Little Pony from a lot of grown men and I was wondering myself how did they get into that stuff? Because at that time it was beyond me that a lot of adult males loved a show that was originally targeted towards little girls but as soon as I watched like 5-7 episodes I started to get a sense that this show wasn't JUST made for kids. Lauren Faust had a ton of thought and care put into My Little Pony. Because of the shows tone - I can strongly tell it can be for adults too (like the episode Twilights Kingdom or whatever it was, don't completely remember the name. Or was it the episode Princess Twilight?) I don't necessarily need the show to teach the morals or friendship and stuff as I already have friends myself but its a good detachment as MLP has morals of friendship that not a lot of people know themselves. So yeah. I strongly think the Men LOVING MLP is justified. Sure, Men loving My Little Pony could be weird. But would women loving Star Wars be just as weird? Either way. Both of them are completely acceptable.

The REAL Star Wars Prequel. It kinda has annoying problems but I like it.
7 May 2017
When I went to the theaters all I was hoping was that Rogue One doesn't mess up the entire backstory to Star Wars like The god awful prequel trilogy did. I honestly thought this was gonna be one of those Star Wars movies that's "Just there" but not really.... I was blown away posting at the ending. It was GRADE A Star Wars! It perfectly described what the Opening Crawl told us in A New Hope. Rogue One actually feels like its in the same Star Wars Universe as the Original trilogy And The Force Awakens(Yes I said it, GET OVER IT!) Some of the problems the movie had was that the pacing was kinda slow and sluggish and it had call backs even more unnecessary than the force awakens.... Was showing Dr. Evanzan on Jehda really necessary? Let Alone R2D2 and C3PO on the Yavin 4 base? If they showed them getting on the Tantive IV I would have forgave it more. And the lacking of character development. Chirrut and K2SO were the most unique characters in the movie. The Battle of Scarif on ground and in space was amazing. It was exactly how I imagined Star Wars. I like the idea of Jyn Erso not killing Krennic because Krennic getting killed by his own creation is a bit better than getting killed out of revenge.

Hopefully they get the callback stuff out of their system and not make the pacing slow for The Last Jedi.

Star Wars is back with vengeance no matter what Negatives say.
24 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Too many people give this a negative because of "rehashes of A New Hope" Well A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back aren't even original to begin with. If we hate The Force Awakens for being unoriginal then use the same logic not only against the original trilogy itself but also Disney classics like THE LION KING. Negatives are also given because apparently Rey is a "Mary Sue" People don't seem to pay attention enough to The Original Trilogy if they don't think Luke resembles similar ways.

Id like to know more about Rey in The Last Jedi. Her character is EXTREMELY well done. She is incredibly relatable and compassionate.

Finn is an amazing character with great enthusiasm and excellent morals. No need for a reason to help someone. Its the right thing to do. Only use violence as Last Resort

and Finally.... If I were to be honest.... When you hear "He was the Best Star Pilot in the Galaxy" I now think of Poe Dameron! he's a Badass! Reason? He destroyed 10 Tie fighters and 3 stormtroopers in 16 seconds. I love his passion for flying too even if its a bad guy StarFighter! "I always wanted to one of these things!"

I honestly almost cried at the scene where *SPOILER ALERT* Rey found Luke. Its like finding a best friend of relative you haven't seen for years or decades. I left the theaters with insane chills.

I can't decide a favorite character to be honest.... I love them all. Their acting is incredibly believable. While it does have its flaws (What movie doesn't?) I still could NOT have loved it more! (Only thing I didn't like is that Captain Phasma was wasted. Hopefully she is given more in The Last Jedi.
