A Documentary for the average person.
26 October 2019
Just watched this for the first time on PokerGo and found it a fascinating expose of life of people trying to make of go in the rough and tumble life of Professional Poker players. It is humerous and sometimes sad but never dull. No happy endings here just raw life with all our faults and dreams exposed to the element of luck. Enjoy and keep on dreaming.

Over Rated

Was a good film up until the almost nonsensical ending of Robinson waking up from a dream. Ruined the whole film and not enough was made of Raymond Massey investigating the murder which was really self defense and would anyone in their right mind actually hide the body after all no sexual liaison had taken place, too far fetched.

A Must See.
3 June 2019
This movie is under rated and is a must see for all the right reasons. It tells the story of adultery in a way the will resonate with people in relationships of all sorts. When things spiral out of control after a lapse in judgement one could feel for the characters involved, except of course for the malevolent character portrayed by Raymond Burr. Dick Powell, Jan Wyatt, Burr and Scott all turn in fine performances as was their trademark. I rarely write reviews (too lazy usually) but this movie deserved the time and thought.

Protestant Christian Propaganda

If you are content to sit through this orchestrated indoctrination vehicle good luck to you. I understand times were different in 1951 but this is now 2019 and I fully appreciate that humans need to belong to a tribe so I will temper my words about this movie and suffice to say I found most of it boring and simplistic. I was raised in a Catholic family until I reached the age of reason which was when I was about ten. I admit I am now a Pantheist and find most if not all organized Religions to be outdated and handicaps to living a fruitful and rewarding life. On a lighter note where on earth did they get the hideous wallpaper for the hallway and stairs.

Nonsense.
17 July 2017
Don't waste your time. The movie starts off silly and only progresses to complete garbage within the first ten minutes. No funny just dumb. Some guy (Hope) in a lock up with three ex wives chasing alimony and then Fields enters film with his corny lines and blows up a garage and no doubt the explosion would have killed all the attendants. Need I say more, rubbish film which I had to stop watching.
