Wonka (2023)
Pure Exhilarating Imagination
A brilliant prequel to the original Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.
Respect is properly paid to the key components from the Gene Wilder movie, like the Oompah Loompah's and their signature song.
Outstanding performances by the whole cast. And Timothy Chalamet, purely captivating in his portrayal of the child like hope innocence and dream like quality needed in a character such as Willy Wonka.
Can't wait to see it again, and learn the brilliant songs written by Neil Hannon as well!! They fit the style and theme, and bring real emotion leaving you wanting more. And Hugh Grant's tongue in cheek humour is absolutely hilarious and adds just the right tone to bring joy and laughter!
Vampires (2020)
A Refreshingly New Storyline for Vampiric Culture
Really great story, brilliant cast! Although, it would seem that most people can't live without the characters being played by picture perfect barbie dolls?! Otherwise I think it would be getting a much higher and much deserved rating!!
3Below: Tales of Arcadia (2018)
Another wonderful new animation
Just as well written and animated as the shows predecessor Trollhunters.
The only other way to describe it is 'Glorious'!
Trollhunters (2016)
Brilliant New Animation
Such a brilliantly written and well animated series. A shame that it had to end, but utterly respectful.
Superstition (2017)
Classic cult style show!
Whilst the show is not overly the most original, it's a well done version based around classic cult and mythic genre themes. Half the other reviews haven't seemed to pay attention to their own writing, leaving any reader confused by what they meant or if maybe they changed their mind while typing, or even if they even were writing about the same show?!
Enjoy it for what it is, entertainment well written and acted based on mythical and superstitious themes. In other words, being myth and superstition, there's always many different versions, and leaves it open to be changed if they do please!
Completely enjoyable and I hope it's getting a second season, and not just another series that gets cut after it's first season!!
