TO EVERYONE HATING ON THE VIPS
This is a series from South Korea in mainly the Korean language
I am 99% sure the reason why the VIPs are talking the way they are is because of this
They are not acting bad, the acting is fine! What feels amiss to us is that they talk slowly and pronounce very clearly, and this is deliberate. They speak slowly and clearly because this show was intended for a Korean audience and not an US or even English speaking audience
and this is why it feels kinda off to those people
We are used to Netflix shows in US or British English where people speak perfect everyday English (whatever that means) and here they tried to ensure a non English speaker or someone with limited English skills can follow the VIP conversations
This is my theory I said what I said
Love this series and it's the best thing that's come off Netflix in a while so think for a minute and stop hating on this detail in an otherwise AWESOME show!

Best swiss movie in a long time
I went to see this movie in cinema yesterday. We didn't have high expectations because Swiss movies are usually not as good as I'd like them to be. This movie was different, all the actors did a great job, especially R. Mesquida and A. Zogg, who played some of the main parts were very convincing and the perfect cast for this role. The story was very mysterious in the beginning, the images of the mountains and landscapes were breathtaking and really stunning. Some scenes were quiet brutal and rude, but never tasteless or offending, and even though the movie had that mysterious touch in the beginning, even supernatural, it all turns out to be logical and not unreal in the ending. Also you could never say how the movie ends or where it goes, I like that a lot in movies, when you can't predict the end. The shooting location, a small village in the mountains of Grischuna was perfect, romantic but not kitsch, it shows the real Switzerland, outside of the big cities and everything about traditions and lifestyle of the people was really accurate. The only disadvantage was for me, that sometimes it wasn't quiet clear when certain things happened, like back-flashes or present shots, it wasn't pointed out when what happened. But all in all I am proud of my country, releasing such a great movie I've never expected, I can give it a 9 star rating. I can only recommend this movie to you out there, its worth it.
Snakes on a Plane (2006)
Total unrealistic Crap
I was really looking forward to this film, because I heard so much about it and enjoyed the hype around it.
What I saw then was total crap... the snakes are ridiculously unrealistic, they acted more like aliens than real snakes, really... and it was so obvious that they're computer-animated, that ruined the whole fun.
Some scenes which sure wanted to be creepy or terrifying really made me laugh...snakes biting people in the eyes, the tongue or even in boobs...ridiculous. This movie is full of unintentionally humor!
If you know anything about snakes, this movie is more a comedy then a thriller or whatever. The storyline sucks, too. Total crap, please NEVER watch this film!
Twilight (2008)
Nice implementation of the book...but bad actors
First of all: I did read the book first, so I knew what the movie is about and what is going to happen. I love the book, because the story is really full of love and some lines made me shiver. So I really looked forward to see all I ever imagined on the big screen!
What I got was half/half... first of all, the location, the look of the actors, the flow of the story, all this was very good and impressed me, because it really reflects the book. BUT: The acting of the main characters (Bella and Edward) is really, really bad. That ruined the whole movie for me! Kirsten Steward (Bella) has absolutely NO talent in expressing the feelings of her character on screen. You don't buy her, that she is depressed, confused, in love, whatever. That was really a shame. Robert Pattinson (Edward) is a better actor, but I always had the feeling, that he don't really likes his role and plays half-hearted. So, especially the love scenes, from which the whole story lives, are just awful, and the actors look bored. I'm really asking myself what brought the casting crew to the decision, to take Kristen as main character...I don't understand this, really.
But I have to say, that the story really followed clearly the book (even though they left out a bit), the location was wonderful, and many of the side characters (especially Peter Faccinelli and Peter Burke) did a great job and brought life into the movie. So I give this movie a 6 star rating.

Nice...but could be SO much better
Many of my friends saw this film in the theaters. They absolutely loved it, so my expectations may have been a bit high when I watched it on DVD last night.
First of all, it's not a bad movie. But it could have been so much better.
I liked: The screenplay of Anna (Nora Tschirner) was amazing, I didn't know her before and I have to say that she is a great actress! you really buy it that she's a nerdy and stubborn girl. Ludo (Til Schweiger) was great, too. He is an amazing actor and really talented. He fitted the role perfectly in my opinion.
I didn't like: The jokes. Most of them were pretty lame, BUT the good ones made me laugh really hard, what compensated this a bit. The story could have been much more complex in my opinion. Also, I found some of the scenes pretty awkward or unrealistic...as for example near the end of the movie, when Anna and Jürgen walk over the red carpet and she wears her usual boring nerdy outfit, I was like yeah, as if that would *ever* happen. And the scene when Ludo crashes through the glass ceiling...total unnecessary if you ask me. They should have focused more on the character and love story development than on lame jokes and stuff, that was maybe considered as 'action' or something... I don't know. So, i give this movie a 6 star rating.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)
Kristen Stewards acting ruined everything!
So, first of all, I did read the book. It's my favorite one of the Twilight Saga, because it shows the dark side of love so clearly, when Edward leaves Bella. The passages in the books made me shiver and I could completely empathize with Bella.
Now the movie...I was looking forward to the scene, when Edward leaves Bella and tells her, that it's over... I expected a burst out of feelings! And what did I get? Kristen didn't even cry ONCE in the whole movie! If you imagine that this was her hardest time in her life, EVER (Bellas life) that is just so ridiculous! She lies on the ground in the Forest, as Edward leaves and shakes...i don't know of this should be some kind of breakdown or if shes just freezing or what the hell....but it looks totally awkward and ridiculous!
Her bad acting ruined the whole movie, since after that scene you really felt that that girl deserves to get dumped!
So, 5 stars is pretty grateful, because I HATED Kristens acting, but on the other hand I LOVED the acting of the other characters (Edward was better than in the 1st part, and Billy Burke and Dakota fanning really lighted up this movie with their amazing acting)
