- TriviaThe Blacksmith Father Ichiro Yamashiro is hinted at as the ancestor of Katana, who recently appeared in the film Suicide Squad. Her real name in the comics is Tatsu Yamashiro. She is a long running DC comics character appearing since 1983. She is the wielder of the Soul Taker Sword and she also appears in season 3 of Arrow played by Rila Fukushima.
- GoofsThe Waverider provides the Legends with a universal translator which allows the team to communicate in any language; in this case Japanese. However the Ray & Nate are referred to as gaijin. Gaijin should have been translated into foreigner.

Ray Palmer: I designed it so an idiot could use it.
Mick Rory: An idiot does.

This was just stupid
Everyone made the dumbest choices, ones that were reckless and just didn't make sense. The stupid animal woman knocking everyone out based on an assumption? Stupid. Nate and Ray mock fighting and Nate busting the door and both going out? Stupid. Ray getting his suit "stolen" yet AGAIN? Stupid. Nate acting like a complete idiot and confronting soldiers? Stupid. The way they change people's voices to try to make them sound old when it's just lower and sounds like they have a cold or gravel in their throats? Stupid. Gasping every single time someone comes to or comes back from the brink of death? Stupid. Nick being made of steel yet getting thrown around? Stupid. Falling in love in 5 minutes? Stupid. The ONLY good thing about this episode is Rory. I'm really loving his new self :).
