Chris Hemsworth may have earned global recognition as an actor through his performance as Thor Odinson in projects from the MCU, but that isn’t the only franchise that has established a fairly respectable future for him in the industry.
While his other projects are one thing, the mastermind Avengers: Endgame helmers seem to have complete faith in one other of Hemsworth’s saga.

This one franchise is his superhit Extraction action saga, and Joe and Anthony Russo, who were the genius brains behind the 2019 masterpiece from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, are already backing up that franchise.
But that’s not all, because Joe and Anthony Russo have even more on their mind about their next projects that would be focused on “original storytelling”!

“The Truth is… I Am Iron Man”. The iconic line for Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark kick-started the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the first Iron Man movie back in 2008. Ever since the franchise evolved and expanded beyond comprehension and currently stands as one of the most star-studded ones in Hollywood. However, the biggest pull and win for this new connected universe truly came with 2012’s The Avengers and its subsequent iterations.

It looks like Will Smith is finally in the “redemption arc” of his life all thanks to Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah’s Bad Boys: Ride or Die which marks the fourth installment in the Bad Boys franchise. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith will be reprising their roles as Marcus and Mike and we honestly cannot wait to see their chemistry on-screen once again.

The Light and Darkness saga that Destiny once began is finally, after a very long time, reaching its climactic finale. Throughout this past year, anticipation for The Final Shape expansion has continued to grow to a fever pitch, and it checks out too, given how it marks the end of a narrative that began spinning into existence over a decade ago.
Interestingly enough, some fans have begun comparing Destiny 2 and Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. You may be surprised to know, however, that the comparison isn’t limited to the grandiosity of the events—no, it goes far deeper than expected.

Since the release of the first Destiny, the franchise has evolved into a profoundly intricate looter shooter, all thanks to its significant number of expansions and seasonal events.

It’s been nearly five years since Robert Downey suited up as Iron Man. The gap might seem relatively small in human years, but it’s astronomical in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) years, considering they dole out a superhero movie/series every fortnight.

Get Out, Us and Nope director Jordan Peele has had a meeting with Marvel about making a franchise movie according to a new report.
Ever since his wildly successful 2017 filmmaking debut, Get Out, writer-director-producer Jordan Peele has been known for making original, darkly imaginative genre movies. Robert Downey Jr. first played Tony Stark in 2008's Iron Man, a movie which turns 16 this year. He'd go on to reprise the role in several MCU movies, ultimately bidding farewell to the Armoured Avenger in 2019's Avengers: Endgame.
It's been five years since the actor snapped his fingers and bid farewell to the role. Since then, Downey has won an Oscar for his work in Oppenheimer and all eyes are on what he does next.
Surprisingly, it seems an MCU return is somewhere on his list (and these comments come just hours after Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner also expressed an interest in reuniting with his fellow original Avengers).
Talking to Jodie Foster for Variety, Downey was asked if he'd consider suiting up again. "It’s just crazily in my DNA. Probably the most like-me character I’ve ever played, even though he’s way cooler than I am," the actor responded.

The series of murder mysteries that began with the 2019 film Knives Out and continued with the 2022 film Glass Onion is set to keep on going with Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, which has writer/director Rian Johnson back at the helm. Johnson and his collaborators are being very secretive about this project right now, but there’s a lot of hype for it – so we figured this would be a good time to start assembling a list of Everything We Know About Wake Up Dead Man. Here we go:

Marvel had a rough year in 2023. Many of its properties underperformed, and they lost their big villain due to Jonathan Majors being fired. Looking forward to their upcoming slate, comic fans have been excited about some of the studio’s projects over the next few years. Will these films help Marvel regain control? The upcoming Thunderbolts film has been one that fanboys have been hoping to see since the MCU started. With some recent news about the property coming up, it seems like the right time to break down what we know about the production.
Who Are The Thunderbolts?
The team first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1997 in an issue of The Incredible Hulk. They seemed to be a new group of superheroes that had arrived on the scene and gained acclaim very quickly. The reader was informed that the group was actually a group of supervillains led by Baron Zemo.

It’s great to be alive if you are a Marvel fan! Though there was a period of darkness following several box office bombs, it seems like we are finally going to get some quality pieces. The official trailer for Venom 3 just dropped, but that’s not all. Robert Downey Jr. just blew the door to his return wide open with his recent statement.

While Sony and Marvel both are trying hard to win back their audience, with their focus now on quality, we can expect some pretty exciting news on the horizon. One of the most anticipated projects on MCU’s slate is Avengers: Secret Wars. And Downey Jr. might just make a return as Tony Stark.

Apprehensions regarding the fate of Marvel Studios post Avengers: Endgame went away right after a cinema-defining experience brought over by Spider-Man: No Way Home. The third iteration of the Tom Holland-led trilogy climbed up box office ranks swiftly while also bringing the multiverse into full force. Moreover, the implications of the storyline directly tied into the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it gave rise to speculations regarding Avengers: Secret Wars.

It’s not crazy to say the Marvel Cinematic Universe hasn’t reached “Avengers: Endgame” heights over the past five years. Phases 4 and 5 have largely been seen as letdowns. So, it’s not all that shocking that fans are clamoring to know if Marvel Studios will attempt to bring back some of the Og Avengers to help steer the ship. Well, two of the OGs are seemingly open to it happening.

The Russo Brothers, Anthony, and Joseph, are two of the most successful filmmakers of recent years and have been involved in some of the most successful Marvel iterations till date. This also includes 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, which resulted in a triumphant send-off for the director duo from the MCU, garnering almost $2.8 billion worldwide.

What’s more, back when the Russo Brothers were part of the MCU, it was effectively a golden bird for Marvel. Avengers: Endgame was the second-last movie of the MCU’s Phase III, and there has been considerable stagnancy ever since. Be it in the form of narrative problems, dwindling box office returns, or repetitive storytelling, there are simply a number of reasons why fans have not been as impressed with Marvel’s offerings over the past few years.

Daniel Brühl made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as a reimagined take on Baron Zemo in Captain America: Civil War, before returning for the Disney+ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.
Already a somewhat sympathetic villain given everything he went through in Sokovia during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Zemo put his differences with Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson aside in Tfatws to help them put a stop to the Flag Smashers - though he always had his own schemes in play.
Last we saw of him, he had agreed to return to The Raft to finish out his sentence for killing King T'Chaka in an attempt to frame Barnes for a terrorist attack.
When a Thunderbolts (since retitled Thunderbolts*) movie was announced, it was assumed that Zemo would be involved since he is so closely associated with the supervillain strike team in the comics. Marvel Studios went in a different direction,...

It’s not news that Robert Downey Jr.’s iconic character Tony Stark is widely considered one of the most powerful and, well, egoistic characters in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While his extraordinary smarts are what set him apart from every other superhero, the lifestyle he leads and the personality he sports — especially at the beginning of his tenure — further contributed to it.

However, while he manages to turn into a softie in the later events of his story arc in the Cinematic Universe, especially around Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, he does set his ego aside for one other Marvel character as well.
In fact, not only this but on closer observation, one would realize that he actually even breaks his rule for this very character too: Howard Stark, i.e. Tony’s dad.

With the Multiverse Saga failing to connect with audiences in the way Marvel Studios hoped, none of us were surprised to learn Kevin Feige is thinking about reassembling the original six Avengers.
The Infinity Saga was built around Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and The Hulk. While some of them would almost certainly be Variants, that team is certainly one way to get people back into theaters for the next Avengers movies.
Talking to Josh Horowitz, Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner was asked for his thoughts on getting the gang back together.
"Maybe if enough time goes by, right? I think it kind of has at this point, but also what is the point of the narrative [and] the story?" the actor wondered. "These are beloved characters. We did spend 23 films together essentially as a collective. What is the reason? What is the story? Do you have to do more after that?...

There has been a significant drop in the VFX works of major films, including the MCU. Fans have often trolled these movies or scenes with bad CGI, and some wonder why such a drop happened. A fan on X shared an image of Pirates of the Caribbean‘s CGI work side-by-side with some of the latest sloppy work in the MCU. One VFX artist came out with an explanation that makes it clear skills/technology aren’t the issue here.

Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Iron Man will go down in history as one of the greatest superhero performances of all time. His character’s journey from selfish playboy to selfless hero was truly inspiring, and his ultimate sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame will forever be remembered as a key moment in the MCU.
Of course, Avengers: Infinity War, in which most of the franchise’s heroes came together to try and stop Thanos’ plan to wipe out half of the universe’s population, represented the conclusion of MCU’s decade-long projects. Following the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016), the heroes of the MCU were divided into two factions for Avengers: Infinity War’s ending. Nevertheless, in the end, neither group was able to prevent Thanos’ conquest.

The aftermath of Avengers: Endgame had Marvel Studios enter its multiverse saga. A deep dive into the storyline with projects such as Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, marked the beginning of that chapter and threw open the doors to endless possibilities. Furthermore, after its take on Kang saw botched results owing to narrative failures in flicks like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, a revamp of sorts is on the way with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Avengers: Endgame is one of the greatest Marvel movies ever to be made. Not only did it perfectly bring together all the different characters in one space without feeling like clutter, but presented a conclusive end to the decades-long saga. Just when all hope seemed lost, the movie proved that there is always a bigger picture hidden in plain sight and that one only needs to look for it.

The making of the Infinity Saga is as big a mystery to the fans as the entirety of Phase Five’s Secret Invasion. The narrative established in the run-up to Avengers: Endgame proved that the level of planning that was required to pull off the two-part grand finale would make the Time Heist look like child’s play. Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe met its downfall, it was one of the best superhero franchises that knew how to feature a gripping storyline with high stakes, neatly integrated with humor that was loved by audiences of different ages. The textbook example of this virtue would be Avengers: Infinity War. The 2018 film became an MCU favorite and gave one of the best blockbuster experiences to its fans.

"Spider-Man: Far from Home," released in July of 2019, was the 23rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and served as a victory lap for the franchise following the release of "Avengers: Endgame" -- one of the biggest films of all time -- the previous May. That was 23 films in 11 years, released at a pretty steady -- but mostly tolerable -- clip. From 2008 to 2016, Marvel Studios released two films every year. From 2017 to 2019, it upped its output to three a year. The frantic release schedule, paired with carefully curated press releases, whipped fans into a frenzy of eternal anticipation. In 2019, it seemed like the MCU would never end.
