You can't really say much about a show whose only purpose is to note the color of everyday objects. There's no reason for anyone to view this, as there are certainly easier ways to educate your child in matters of visual skill (Something more basic like Your Baby Can Read might help for <1-year-olds). It might actually be draining his intelligence as he stares at it.

Umm, I don't know what else to say. I guess it's sort of entertaining when they pick the white crayon for the episode and he doesn't add any color to the picture, and then when he colors something white that's supposed to be a different color the eraser comes in and erases his lack of color and they just go along with it.

I used to like this as a kid but rewatching it? It's just a flat out masterpiece. I'm two episodes in, and I'm already hooked! I wish I had decided to rewatch it sooner. The plot is riveting, and I'm always on the edge of my seat, theorizing about this strange world the characters seem to live in.

The god that decides their worth, their job in the community? Who knows what it represents, but I would say it's a metaphor for capitalism, and the flaws of monarchy.

As for representation, I love how it includes different political values, right wing, left wing, and everything on the outside and in-betweens. Also the erasure of colors when put in the "wrong" places may serve as a metaphor for inflation. I also love the queer representation, of purple and yellow being in a relationship!

Going away from metaphor theories, and into in-plot theories, I think the crayons are average baristas. They try so hard to serve coffee to their customers, but they all pull out their tasers, and they're NEVER EVER SATISFIED I SWEAR

Also a side note? This series contains EXTREME sexual content, gore, profanity, nudity, and violence, and general **freakiness** so don't watch it with your children. 😉😉😉😫😫😫
