An amazing story about a man and his dream to cross the USA from Oceanside, California to Annapolis, Maryland by bike in the RAAM (Race across America). Race Across America (RAAM) is one the most respected and longest running endurance sports events in the whole world. RAAM is seen as a pinnacle of athletic achievement not only in cycling circles but the greater sporting community as well. Andreas Niedrig the main actor, a world class athlete in triathlon from Germay, trains hard to fulfill his dream. After an accident he stopped training and couldn't take part. As a solution his team takes part for him. A great documentary about teamwork and friendship with great pictures from the landscape of the United States. Andreas wants to tell, that everybody can fulfill his wishes and dreams, but that you have to work for it hard. You must not be perfect, but you have to takes your targets realistic. That means luck.
