- TriviaThe family pictured in the final bluebonnet photo example is that of Michael Judd, an assistant director and director of Young Sheldon.
- GoofsIn The Tam Turbulence (2018) both Tam and Sheldon mention that it was the intention of both of them to go to California and Sheldon got mad that Tam decided to stay in Texas with his girlfriend. It seems that that has been retconned so that Tam was never even apart of the move to California in the first place. However, seeing as Sheldon completely ignored Tam during their last lunch, it's plausible that Sheldon made up their agreement in his mind as he is known to be an unreliable narrator of his own life.
- Quotes

Missy Cooper: He's okay, right?
Principal Petersen: He's gone.

A New Home and a Traditional Texas Torture
I knew he was gonna die but they could've waited after the show ended. I am not a big fan of death or other sad things to be in a comedy show and it wasn't the same without him they are now making another sequel to the show and it will never be the same again.
I don't even know how that new show will be like I liked George he was funny and had values This show was really good it's not like other shows today, its all political correct, alcohol and sex not to mention children doing whatever they want
This was more of a family show that you could actually relate to, homewarming show Rest In Peace George.
