Did you know
- TriviaJudy Greer told The Hollywood Reporter that her going fully topless in the first episode wasn't in the script. Producers asked her if she wanted to wear pasties for the scene where she's struggling to pull off her shirt in front of Keegan-Michael Key, but she refused because trying to shoot around them was a "a pain in the ass." So she told them, "Let's just do the scene and then you guys can just deal with my boobs in the editing room." When the scene was edited together, they were like, "Well, we have two versions, and there is a version where we can see your breasts, and it's very funny. We're never putting this in the show if you don't want to, but why don't you come and see what you think?" When she saw it, she agreed it was funny. Being naked on camera never bothered her, so she told them to keep it in.

Not gonna go crazy yet, but it's good...
So far so good. Doesn't hit it out of the park, but it's quality. Great cast and concept, and it seems to be put together thoughtfully. Ironically, it's a seemingly good show that's riding on the shoulders of what's wrong with the entertainment industry right now, which is crappy reboots and minimal original content.
Hand clap ๐๐ผ to Hulu, who quite obviously don't take themselves too seriously seeing that the show they are fictionally rebooting with their own station in the show actually airs on Hulu in real life.
Add Steven Leviton (?) as the show runner (who is responsible for Modern Family) plus Paul Reiser, and this has potential to go places. Can't see it for running more than a few seasons, but for my wife and me, it's as good or better than anything on TV right now.
