Antwerp is in turmoil: the diamond mecca has been robbed. The whole world demands answers. Amidst the clients of the Diamond Center stands an Italian jeweler, Leonardo Notarbartolo, who is still unaware of the serious troubles he's in.
Leonardo tries to put the puzzle pieces together and wonders which one of his team members betrayed him: his long-time friend Ghigo, the alarm expert, or Sandra, a magician with a picklock? Or maybe Alberto, his hacker stepbrother?
While Leonardo strikes a secret deal with the shady lawyer John Lovegrove, the chief of the Diamond Police, Albert Mertens, follows a new lead involving someone inside the Diamond Center.
Anna, Leonardo's wife, finds herself cornered by Mertens. Judith De Witt, the director of the Diamond Center, also becomes entangled in the crosshairs of the investigation. Meanwhile, a mysterious man keeps a close watch on Leonardo.
The news of Leonardo's extra-marital affair hits Anna very hard. Anna, however, is not the only one feeling betrayed-there is evidence of who framed Leonardo.
While Mertens receives a tip-off that he just can't ignore, Anna sets her plan for revenge in motion by planning to take away the only weapon that is still keeping Leonardo alive. Checkmate to the King.
Leo starts to get the pieces moving again, while the rest of the gang and Kahn are about to retrieve the diamonds. Everybody wants the diamonds. But the King of Thieves is no longer in check, and he has a surprise in store for them all.
