Great film

This film was wonderfully insightful - important look at gay commitment that tenderly gets to know its main characters. This documentary makes it clear why the Christian right has not looked deeply enough into this issue. "Union in Wait" goes deep into the story of one couple in the triad area of North Carolina to observe one couples' struggles to have their commitment ceremony held in Wake Forest University's Baptist Chapel. The couple is a clear example of love, and those interviewed who oppose the ceremony do so from a frightening conservative viewpoint that does not try to grasp love. The documentarians do not overstep their bounds, either. While well edited, there is no overzealous 'star'... the director allows the main characters and those interviewed to let the story play out.
