We’re going to need every minute of the next 13 weeks to prepare to say goodbye to Evil, the chilling psychological thriller that follows forensic psychologist Kristen (Katja Herbers), priest David (Mike Colter), and contractor/tech expert Ben (Aasif Mandvi) as they investigate unexplained cases for the Catholic church … and, this season, prepare for the birth of the antichrist. But sadly, it is the final season. The good news? They got four bonus episodes to wrap up the story, but how much will be resolved, and how much will be left open-ended? “Hopefully everything is going to be resolved, but sometimes resolution adds more questions,” co-creator Michelle King tells TV Insider. Adds co-creator Robert King, “The resolution can point forward. I don’t think anything will be tied up in the most perfect bow, but there will be a bow. It just might have a little bit of leaving something open to the audience imagination.

Photo by Brianna Fox-Priest Hatsune Miku has the power to bring crowds wherever her virtual presence can be felt. Even drawing fans to a relaxed campus located in the city of Brotherly Love: Philadelphia. How does a virtual singer bring waves of die-hard fans and the equally curious to a local cafe? That’s the magic of Miku. Richie’s Cafe in Philadelphia isn’t just a local student hub, it now proudly can say it was the first North American Hatsune Miku collab cafe. When Richie’s Cafe’s Operational Manager, Tarik Dzemaili, came up with the idea to create a collab with Crypton Future Media’s Hatsune Miku, he never expected them to respond to his request, “It was a shot in the dark. I sent them an email not expecting a reply. But I got a reply the next day.” Related: Hatsune Miku is On...

Welcome to this review of WWE’s latest pay-per-view/premium live event, Backlash, which this year emanates from France. We’ve got five matches on the card so let’s get into it.
Match #1: Street Fight – Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga def. Randy Orton & Kevin Owens The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Before the match could even begin, all four Superstars engaged in a massive melee with WWE officials, including SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who was attempting to break up the brawl. A fed up Aldis decided to forgo the original tag team rules, turning the bout into a Street Fight. The chaos only heightened with the introduction of weapons including Kendo sticks, trash cans, tables and even the Prime hydration station being used as instruments of destruction. Both teams traded blows with Owens splashing Tonga through a table while Sikoa nearly simultaneously put Orton through a table with a Samoan Drop.

When you hear that D.B. Weiss and David Benioff are behind a series, you sit up and take notice. The recent Netflix drama 3 Body Problem had all the suspense and drama we've come to expect from the pair, as a team of scientists and a detective investigate the strange deaths of scientists around the world.
Based on the novel The Three Body Problem by Liu Cixin, the show scored 80% on Rotten Tomatoes and topped Netflix's global top 10 for 3 weeks. But with only 8 episodes, this uber-bingeable show has already come to an end for many fans.
The good news, a new K-drama landing on April 26th is the perfect show to stream if you loved 3 Body Problem and can't believe it hasn't been renewed for Season 2.
What would you do if there were only 200 days left until the apocalypse?
That is the question the citizens of Korea face in this heart-pounding show.

Rhea Ripley is a standout in the world of professional wrestling, particularly in WWE, thanks to her incredible in-ring skills, charisma and more. She has many qualities that set her apart from the average wrestler. She also loves Damian Priest, a member of The Judgment Day, and it appears she gives him a hard time when it comes to the ”Bisexual Undertaker” trend that is prevalent for him.

This past week, the anticipated horror, ‘Immaculate’ had its theatrical release nationwide. After the initial premiere at South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas, the film was met with a mix of reviews but a positive response overall. No matter what one may think of the film, ‘Immaculate’ has transformed producer and leading actor, Sydney Sweeney, into a scream queen for the new generation.

Fresh off his win at WrestleMania 40, WWE star Damian Priest has signed with Paradigm for representation in all areas, Variety has learned exclusively.
Paradigm will work to build his business across books, acting, marketing, unscripted and more. Priest, who was born Luis Berrios (Martinez), most recently won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship during Night 2 of WrestleMania 40 by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract against Drew McIntire, who himself had just won the championship from Seth Rollins.
Priest was born in New York but raised in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico until he was 11. It was there he developed an interest in professional wrestling and martial arts. He began his career on the independent circuit, including a sting in Ring of Honor.
He joined Nxt, WWE’s developmental brand, in 2018 under the name Damian Priest. During his time there, he won the Nxt North American Championship before moving up to...

On Night 1 of WrestleMania Xl, the Judgement Day involving Damien Priest and Finn Baylor returned empty-ended as they lost their Undisputed WWE tag team championship in a Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder match. They fought against A-Town Down Under, The Awesome Truth, #DIY, The New Day, and New Catch Republic and were left defeated at the end.

However, Priest was determined to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, and he did it as he made a surprise return on Night 2. After Drew McIntyre won against Seth Rollins, Priest, with the help of Cm Punk, beat down the new champion and cemented his contract. Drew Mcintyre got his deserved title shot against Seth Rollins on night 2 of WrestleMania 40. The Scottish Warrior has been kind of a heel, with his storyline with injured Cm Punk getting momentum, but he had bigger fish to fry.

Apart from the thrilling matches at WWE, the wrestling industry has often made headlines for lacking female referees, until Jessika Carr made her debut in 2019 during SmackDown. Being the first full-time female referee, Carr has been working with WWE for a long time.
Damian Priest | image: Wikimedia Commons
However, despite her unbiased judgment and help, she seems to lack her deserving credit. Take the recent example of WrestleMania 40 when a few fans noticed Jessica Carr helping Damian Priest during the Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match. Apparently, Carr saved Priest from a scary botch by informing him about his ladder. And yet, rarely anyone offered Carr the credit for helping.
Jessica Carr Went Unnoticed Despite Saving Damian Priest
Making her debut in 2019 during Friday Night SmackDown, Jessica Carr became WWE’s first full-time female referee. Ever since then she has been appearing during several matches and dedicating herself to the wrestling universe.

The preview opening of the new exhibit Meet the Stars: 100 Years of MGM Studios and the Golden Age of Hollywood on Thursday night was a crowded, buzzing affair. Held at the Hollywood Heritage Museum in the historic Lasky DeMille Barn across from the Hollywood Bowl, the event showcased the items of over 20 movie collectors. Memorabilia hunters, dressed in fedoras and flirty ’40s dresses, gabbed about their latest finds with others who have a similar passion.
The highlight of the night was when the crowd sang “Happy Birthday” to former MGM child star Cora Sue Collins (who played a little Greta Garbo in 1933’s Queen Christina), the last surviving MGM contract player from the 1930s. Sitting at a tableau that recreated a party thrown for her by MGM in 1935, Collins elegantly thanked everyone for their well wishes. Actor George Chakiris was also in attendance, and he posed next to a costume...

More than five decades into their career, Judas Priest have always been one of metal’s most reliably great bands, likely because the responsibility they feel to the genre weighs just as heavily as the music they make. They never want to let down their fans, the “heavy metal maniacs,” as lead shrieker Rob Halford dubbed them long ago, even as they’ve pressed forward in the face of adversity in recent years. Guitarist Glenn Tipton, a bona fide metal icon known for his electrifying solos, revealed he’d been...

Match #1: WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – The Kabuki Warriors def. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Although Damage Ctrl recently ejected Bayley from its ranks, Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors were primed to go it alone against Hartwell and Candice LeRae, former Nxt Women’s Tag Team Champions. Asuka and Kairi Sane stuck with their apparent game plan of isolating LeRae from Hartwell, drawing the ire from the Australian faithful.

Match #1: Tiffany Stratton def. Liv Morgan The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

The irate Belair climbed up to the apron, only to inadvertently delay the official’s ability to count Morgan’s pin attempt. When Stratton kicked out, Morgan’s momentum caused her to accidentally knock Belair off the apron, allowing Tiffany to roll up Liv for an enormous win prior to her Elimination Chamber Match against Morgan, Belair, Becky Lynch, Naomi and Raquel Rodriguez.

Judas Priest continue to unveil tracks from their forthcoming album Invincible Shield ahead of its March 8th release date.
“The Serpent and the King” is the fourth single from the LP so far, and it’s another scalding ripper from the British metal legends.
Rob Halford’s falsetto vocals are front and center — yep, he can still hit that vaunted Painkiller register — and the guitar tone sounds like it’s scratching the speakers from the inside. Under the hood, the guitar work and riff arrangements are densely composed — enough for both thrash and prog heads to feast on.
Regarding the album’s musical direction, guitarist Richie Faulkner told Audio Ink Radio that Invincible Shield “is progressive in the sense that it’s not like verse-chorus-verse-chorus-solo-chorus-finish,” likening it to Priest’s ’70s output.
“It’s musical part-verse-musical part,” he added. “It might do a few twists and turns, musically. It veers from the path of it,...

AC/DC have announced their first tour in eight years, a 2024 UK/European outing that will take place from May through August. The legendary rock band has also revealed that former Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney has joined their touring lineup in place of classic member Cliff Williams.
The tour announcement comes after a week of teases on AC/DC’s social media pages. The 21-date outing kicks off in May 17th in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, and runs through an August 17th show in Dublin, Ireland. Tickets go on sale on Friday (February 16th) at various times via Viagogo.
AC/DC last embarked on a full tour in 2016. Part way into that tour, singer Brian Johnson had to step aside due to hearing issues, as Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose took over on vocals. Williams also retired from the band after that outing.

Match #1: The New Day vs. Imperium (Double count-out) The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After weeks of animosity, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods took on Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci in a vicious tag team contest. Kingston and Woods were a house on fire, continuing to pummel Kaiser and Vinci at ringside. The fight was so intense that both teams were counted out. The fight continued with the two teams bombarding each other at the tech area. The brawl did not stop until both teams went crashing through the tech area table!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Ivy Nile def. Valhalla The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Undeterred by Valhalla’s bizarre energy, Ivy Nile muscled her way to an early advantage.

Judas Priest are getting closer to the release of their Invincible Shield album, out on March 8th. Now, the legendary metal band has released the LP’s latest single, “Crown of Horns.”
The track falls on the melodic side of Priest’s musical spectrum, but still features a blistering guitar solo. The song marks the third single off Invincible Shield, following the previously released “Panic Attack” and “Trial by Fire.”
Judas Priest will take the new tracks on the road this year for a worldwide tour, including a headlining US run in April and May (pick up tickets here).
It took Priest a few years to complete Invincible Shield, with guitarist Richie Faulkner telling Heavy Consequence last May, “We’ve been working on a record for quite a while now. That got halted a little bit because of the Covid lockdowns. We’ve been trying to get that finished.”

Judas Priest are gearing up to release a new studio album, Invincible Shield, on March 8th, but fans don’t have to wait that long to hear new music from the band. The metal legends have unveiled the video for “Trial by Fire” as the second single from the LP.
“Trial by Fire” features some classic metal riffage from guitarists Richie Faulkner and Glenn Tipton, along with singer Rob Halford’s anthemic vocals. It follows the album’s debut single, “Panic Attack,” which arrived last month.
“Trial by Fire” and “Panic Attack” follow the ’70s metal sound that Faulkner had hinted about the new album. During a recent interview with Audio Ink Radio, Faulkner said this album was “a bit more ’70s Priest, which I welcome as a guitar player.”
However, he added that it was “not a retro album, by any means. It’s the influence of ’70s Priest in the progressive sense,...

Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige tends to fall between the stage boards when it comes to the director’s oeuvre. It’s not as blockbuster as his Batman trilogy or as critically acclaimed as Oppenheimer (which sold so well on Blu-ray it led to a major studio shortage) but it no doubt stands as one of his finest achievements: narratively, technically and, yes, magically. And it took years to get to the screen. Distracted and delayed off and on since the days of Memento, The Prestige would end up a feat that stands alone–ironically enough when you think about it…–in Christopher Nolan’s filmography.
But this is just the Pledge. So how did Christopher Nolan turn The Prestige into a minor masterpiece? How did he pull the rabbit out of the hat? Let’s find out: Wtf Happened to this movie?!
Christopher Nolan first got wind of The Prestige – Christopher Priest’s 1995 novel,...

1990 was a peak year for Van Damage. The Muscles from Brussels was on the way to the big time after Bloodsport and Kickboxer (which made our list of the Best Fighting Movies) proved to be huge moneymakers at the box office. But, Jean-Claude Van Damme was different from some of his contemporaries because he was a hearthrob and a prime butt-kicker. His 1990 movie Lionheart was bought for distribution by Universal, paving the way to his breaking into mainstream studio work. But, before he could jump on that gravy train, he had one more movie left to make on his Cannon movie deal – but ironically, the company itself would not release the film theatrically due to its waning fortunes, with this being Van Damme’s first major studio release after MGM opted to distribute it. The movie? Death Warrant!

Netflix’s 2023 miniseries, A Nearly Normal Family, introduces us to the Sandell family, a small and gracious family anyone would kill to be born into. The family includes lawyer Ulrika (Lo Kauppi), priest Adam (Björn Bengtsson), and their star daughter, Stella (Christoffer Willén). Their perfect life shatters when, one day, Stella is raped on a school trip by Robin. Stella tried to shove Robin (Christoffer Willén) away, but she froze up in fright, and Robin carried on. Adam wanted to take it to the cops and then the court, but Ulrika said they would lose, and it would tarnish Stella’s reputation. It would be a classic, my word against your case, suggested Ulrika. Thus, Adam had no choice but to accept his wife’s advice and not press charges.
A Nearly Normal Family takes a four-year leap, and we see Stella, who has now recovered from what happened to her on the school trip.

Dolly Parton has returned with the latest single from her forthcoming album, Rock Star: an anthemic cover of “Wrecking Ball” featuring Miley Cyrus herself. Stream the song below.
Beginning with a soft piano intro, the song crescendos into a full-on pop ballad by its first chorus, with Parton and Cyrus harmonizing the signature hook. Cyrus then takes on the second verse, as a drum part drops, and thick, distorted rock guitars add an extra layer of oomph. By the bridge, orchestral strings carry the progression, and Parton and Cyrus belt together in a call-and-response fashion, with Parton impressively taking on the higher parts.
When the song reaches its grand conclusion, the two throw in a last-second interpolation of Parton’s hit, “I Will Always Love You,” singing one round of that song’s iconic hook before finally landing on a sweet, major chord resolution. Stream the single below.

From 1969 to 2011, K.K. Downing was a member of Judas Priest, and alongside Glenn Tipton made up one of metal’s all-time greatest guitar tandems. The pair helped power such classic albums as British Steel, Screaming for Vengeance, and Painkiller, along with headbanging anthems like “Breaking the Law,” “Living After Midnight,” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’.”
After Downing’s exit, Priest carried on with guitarist Richie Faulkner. But when it was announced in 2018 that Tipton was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and would no longer tour (aside from special appearances), it seemingly opened the door for Downing to return. But ultimately, the vacated slot went to Andy Sneap, the co-producer of Priest’s 2018 album, Firepower.
Despite a brief performance with Judas Priest at the band’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year, Downing says the door is now shut on a reunion.

Judas Priest have unleashed “Panic Attack” as the first single from their recently announced upcoming album, Invincible Shield. The song marks the band’s first new music since 2018’s Firepower LP.

This mini-exodus has been the talk of international confabs of late but Zeiler appeared to stem the flow with an all-staff email yesterday announcing another rejig, in which he acknowledged that “change can be unsettling and we have...

Paramount+ has set a UK boss for the first time.
Chief Marketing Officer Anna Priest has been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Paramount+ for the UK market, and she will oversee the streamer’s “strategic vision” in the nation and identify growth opportunities.
Priest will report into Marco Nobili, EVP and International General Manager of Paramount+, with the marketing , content and distribution team reporting into her.
Paramount+ has greenlit a number of big-budget UK originals including the likes of Kenneth Branagh’s Gentleman in Moscow and the upcoming thriller Insomnia from The Crown maker Left Bank, along with unscripted shows such as Hot Yachts. It has a number of commissioners in the nation, most of whom also order shows for Paramount UK linear network Channel 5.
Elsewhere at the streamer, Canada’s Katrina Kowalski has been upped to Senior Vice President, International Content Programming and Acquisitions for AVoD platform Pluto TV.

Paramount Global has appointed two executives to new roles to strengthen its international streaming business.
Anna Priest, previously chief marketing officer (CMO) for Paramount U.K., has been named senior vp and head of Paramount+ for the U.K. market. She now reports to Marco Nobili, executive vp and international general manager of Paramount+ who unveiled her appointment to staff in an internal memo.
As CMO, Priest worked on the successful launch and growth of Paramount+. In her new role, she will “define the strategic vision” for Paramount+ in the U.K. and Ireland, while “leveraging partnerships to identify growth opportunities for the streamer,” the company said. “Content, marketing and distribution for Paramount+ in the U.K. will now dual report into Anna and their functional leadership.”

Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly… Let’s see what went down on this week’s show!
Match #1: “Big” Bronson Reed def. Otis The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
With the ring reinforced, “Big” Bronson Reed took on Alpha Academy’s Otis in a clash of gargantuan Superstars. Reed was able to withstand Otis’ tree trunk girth, dispatching him with the Tsunami.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Tommaso Ciampa def. Ludwig Kaiser The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Tommaso Ciampa took the next step in facing Intercontinental Champion Gunther as he defeated Ludwig Kaiser. Kaiser nearly won the match, however, after he took advantage of Ciampa attacking Giovanni Vinci. But Kaiser could not get the win as the referee was distracted with Vinci’s injury. Kaiser then threw out his own teammate hoping to get the win.

Match #1: Damian Priest def. Sami Zayn The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Thanks to surprise interference from Jd McDonagh, Damian Priest overcame Sami Zayn with South of Heaven,. The win gave Señor Money in the Bank huge momentum en route to Zayn and Kevin Owens’ Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship defense against The Judgment Day at WWE Payback. Despite McDonagh’s help, an annoyed Priest shoved the interfering Superstar and stormed off. When Zayn and Owens launched a post-match counter-attack, Señor Money in the Bank refused to return to the ring to even the odd.

Welcome to this review of WWE’s 2023 edition of Summerslam, which comes from Detroit and, going into the show, the only thing I knew about proceedings was that WWE bosses had pulled at least one women’s match from the card, leaving Becky Lynch at home making lemonade with her lemons – as she clearly stated on her social media! Not a good look for the WWE if you ask me! Let’s check out the rest of the card…
Match #1: Logan Paul def. Ricochet The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Looking to provoke and antagonize the WWE Universe, Logan Paul took on Ricochet to settle the dispute that started at Royal Rumble. Samantha Irvin, ring announcer and fiancé of Ricochet, was on the receiving end of some rude remarks from Paul, who had mocked the couple en route to SummerSlam. On the outside, Ricochet hit a superb Spanish fly,...
