After that messy, messy end to Season 1, we’ll get to see what’s next for Lucy (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (Jackson White). Hulu has renewed Tell Me Lies for a second season. The series follows Lucy and Stephen’s tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of eight years. They meet at college, and what unfolds affects everyone around them. The first season also starred Catherine Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Benjamin Wadsworth, and Alicia Crowder. In the finale, flashbacks showed Stephen driving the night Macy (Lily McInerny) died. Plus, Lucy watched as he left a college party with his ex, Diana (Crowder), then got drunk with Bree’s (Missal) boyfriend Evan (Cook) and woke up in bed with him the next morning. Meanwhile, at the party in 2015, Lucy and Stephen reunited… right before his fiancée, her (former) best friend, Lydia (Natalee Linez), joined them.

Exclusive: Jonathan Levine (Nine Perfect Strangers) has been tapped to direct the pilot and executive produce Hulu limited series Tell Me Lies, based on Carola Lovering’s novel. Additionally, Gabriella Pession (Station 19), Edmund Donovan (Gossip Girl) and Natalee Linez (Power Book III: Raising Kanan) have been cast in recurring roles opposite Grace Van Patten in the series executive produced by Emma Roberts.
Adapted by Meaghan Oppenheimer (Queen America), Tell Me Lies follows a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. When Lucy Albright (Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco meet at college, they are at that formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences. Although their relationship begins like any typical campus romance, they quickly fall into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them.

Family is everything on Starz's Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and it seems that sentiment has been fully embraced by the show's cast. While there may be friction between Patina Miller's Raquel Thomas and Joey Bada$$'s Unique as they fight for control of South Jamaica, Queens, NY, off screen it's all love. From Hailey Kilgore (Jukebox), Annabelle Zasowski (Nicole Bingham), and Natalee Linez (Jessica Figueroa) enjoying a "ladies night out" to Mekai Curtis (Kanan Stark) and Antonio Ortiz (Shawn "Famous" Figueroa) competing in a push-up contest, the group knows how to have a good time. Ahead, you can see pictures of the cast hanging out, including between takes of Power Book III and at the show's premiere.

Seeing as Starz's Power Book III: Raising Kanan was renewed for a season two ahead of its premiere, we think it's safe to say that expectations for the show were already high. Partially inspired by executive producer 50 Cent's childhood, the series follows 15-year-old Kanan Stark's life in 1991 Queens, NY. We also get to see how he becomes Ghost's rival and the antagonist of Power, all the while discovering what it is that made him join in on the family business. The recurring cast includes Quincy Brown as Crown Camacho, Ade Chike Torbert as Scrappy, Natalee Linez as Jessica Figueroa, and Annabelle Zasowski as Nicole Bingham. From Mekai Curtis as the perfect younger version of the 50 Cent character to several Broadway stars, including Patina Miller and Hailey Kilgore, you can see the main cast ahead.

One year ago, Hollywood’s working actors saw their careers turn to dust overnight. But in the year of uncertainty that followed, some took matters into their own hands and started their own businesses, wrote that long-gestating screenplay — or starred in an Ariana Grande music video. A year ago, TheWrap interviewed 10 up-and-coming performers in Los Angeles and New York whose auditions had disappeared and who often had no income coming in from backup jobs in fitness, food service and marketing also decimated by the pandemic. Financially, it was a year of pure struggle. But in interviews in recent weeks, the performers all reported that far from buckling under the pandemic, they found ways to thrive. “Moments like this make you dive into different aspects and endeavors that you never thought you’d get into,” Natalee Linez, an actress whose credits include Freeform’s “Siren” and “Hawaii Five-0,” told TheWrap. “We...

Hollywood actors, just like most everyone in just about every industry, have been hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic. And many who can’t count on residuals from $1 billion blockbusters or live in mansions off Sunset Blvd. were stranded and left to wonder how to pay the bills — pretty much overnight.
In interviews with a half dozen up-and-coming actors and performers in Los Angeles and New York, a picture emerged of a young creative class that has been stopped in its tracks — with industry careers screeching to a halt and no income coming in from backup jobs in fitness, food service and marketing that have also been decimated by the pandemic.
“Literally within two or three days, all of a sudden, every single job I had lined up was just gone,” Kara Connolly, an actress in the independent film space and SAG-aftra member, told TheWrap.
