Christopher Priest was born on 30 June 1961 in Queens, New York City, New York, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Young Justice (2010), Xerø and Static Shock (2000).
Entered the comics industry as a Marvel Comics intern in 1978. He joined Marvel's editorial staff in 1979, working for Paul Laiken as a managing editor on Crazy Magazine and becoming the first African American editor in mainstream comics. He next became assistant editor for Larry Hama on the Conan titles.
