Eleven-time award-winning actress Zenith Ander was born in Dundee, Scotland and raised in Australia. She has won Best Actress and Best TV/Web Series, and one win for Producer.
Her roles as Mackenzie and Tash in her self-produced series 'Roommates' won her Best Actress in 2023 at the Los Angeles Filmmakers Fest, Cannes Independent Film Festival, and at the Bronx Film Awards where she also was awarded Producer of a Short. In 2022 she won Best Actress at the Hollywood Blvd Film Festival, the NYC Independent Film Festival's 10th Season and at Popcorn Joy Film Festival. 'Roommates' also won Best Series at The Flicks Film Festival, 1st Monthly Film Festival, Pure Magic International Film Festival and the Uruvatti International Film Festival.
The series has been praised by multiple critics and featured in numerous publications. Zenith's roles as 2 characters playing along side each other were Finalists for Best Actress at the Berlin Shorts Award and the Eurasia International Monthly Film Festival in 2021, and she also received an Official Selection for Best Actress at the DMOFF in 2020. Zenith's Scottish role as 'Eilidh' won at the Eurasia International Monthly Film Festival in 2020 and was an Official Selection at the Berlin Flash Film Festival, Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival and the Eurasia International Monthly Film Festivals in 2021.
In 2022 Zenith was awarded an artist residency placement in Truth or Consequences New Mexico to write the screenplay 'InVerse', and in 2023 Zenith was a semi-finalist at the San Diego International Film Festival for her script 'A Good Call'.
Journey to the Zenith podcast debuted it's 1st season in 2023 and chronicles Zenith's experience in the entertainment industry and features interviews with professionals from all facets of film making, television and music.
Zenith attended the Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School and began her acting career as a teen in children's theatre with Cartoon Creations. After high school she attended the William Bates Academy of Performing Arts. She was cast as Tania Morgan on Channel 7's multi-award winning 'Blue Heelers' while still at Performing Arts school. Zenith has appeared in numerous television shows throughout the United States and Australia; 'Murder in the Heartland' saw Zenith play Nicki Anderson in the grim story of David Weedman. In 2020 she was in the 'People Magazine Investigates' series for Investigation Discovery, portraying the lead of Bonny Lee Bakely. She has appeared in commercials for Holden Motors, IKEA and Jetstar Airways.
She is a renowned voice over artist known for her multiple accents, and has voiced radio commercials for Australia's ABC, Triple J radio and for animation. Zenith has worked extensively in production and locations throughout her career on such titles as 'Mad Max, Fury Road', Russell Crowe's 'The Water Diviner' and countless commercials.
She has a certification in Meteorology & The Science of Weather from Harvard University.
She is a voting member of the esteemed BAFTA North America, American Film Institute, AACTA, Australians in Film in Los Angeles and Scottish Screenwriters.
She attended the Beverly Hills Playhouse for Advanced Scene Study, Playhouse West, and The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
