Are you ready for the event of the season?
Yes, I'm talking about the first time three Hallmark Hunks, as they're called, take the screen together.
In Three Wise Men and a Baby, Andrew Walker, Tyler Hynes, and Paul Campbell give brotherhood a try, with a little adorable baby sprinkled on top. What's not to love?
If you read our interview with Margaret Colin about the movie, you know that this Christmas movie leans funny.
And really, you've seen plenty of Hallmark movies, so you probably think that you've seen them go funny already.
Could it really be as funny as I'm suggesting?
What you need to remember is that Three Wise Men and a Baby is a first.
It's the first time that three of Hallmark's biggest male stars -- Walker, Hynes, and Campbell -- share the same real estate, and these guys are having a ball.

A Hallmark Christmas movie with three of the network’s leading men? We can’t wait! Paul Campbell (who wrote the script with Kimberley Sustad), Tyler Hynes, and Andrew Walker star in Three Wise Me and a Baby (premiering on Hallmark Channel on November 19 as part of the /”Countdown to Christmas” event), and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek. Campbell, Hynes, and Walker star as brothers Stephan, Taylor, and Luke who end up caring for a baby — and as you can see, two are very surprised by how the third is handling it one morning. Taylor walks into the kitchen to find Luke not only baking, but singing as well. “I had a little time after my workout this morning, so I figured I’d whip up some cookies,” Luke explains. But Stephen can’t quite believe that either when he joins them: “I can’t wait to see what…...

Prince William shared an important message after Molly Russell’s cause of death was determined.
On Friday, an inquest revealed that social media played a part in the London teenager’s death after she took her own life in 2017. Russell was only 14-years-old.
“No parent should ever have to endure what Ian Russell [Molly’s father] and his family have been through. They have been so incredibly brave,” the Prince of Wales tweeted. “Online safety for our children and young people needs to be a prerequisite, not an afterthought.”
William, 40, concluded the tweet with the letter “W,” an indicator that the message came directly from the royal.

Australian streaming service Stan and production and content studio Lionsgate have commissioned a new original drama series “Prosper.”
“Prosper” will be produced by Lingo Pictures and benefits from major production investment from Screen Australia, with additional assistance from the New South Wales government via Screen Nsw and the Made in Nsw Fund.
The series is part of the ongoing television development partnership for Stan Originals to deliver worldwide content for Lionsgate.
It will be set in the inner sanctum of a family bound together by unfathomable wealth and unchecked power as they build an evangelical megachurch hell-bent on global domination, Stan said.
Matt Cameron (“Jack Irish”), Liz Doran (“Please Like Me”), Louise Fox (“Broadchurch”) and Belinda Chayko (“Stateless”) are writers on the project. Jason Stephens (“Lambs of God”) and Helen Bowden (“The Secret She Keeps”) are producers for Lingo Pictures, alongside Andrew Walker (“Rosehaven”). Cailah Scobie and Amanda Duthie will executive produce for Stan.

Best described as an unbalanced sample platter of vapid conservative beliefs, Harold Cronk’s “God Bless the Broken Road” is not concerned with disputing any of the preconceived notions coastal dwellers may have about Middle America, but rather leans into them shamelessly for a Christian drama squarely aimed at women and veterans.
Seemingly inspired by the eponymous song originally released by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1994 and further popularized thanks to country group Rascal Flatts in 2005, the faith-based narrative is the latest cash cow from the team that unleashed the vitriolic, Islamophobic and generally disturbing “God’s Not Dead” franchise. Both the original “God’s Not Dead” and its sequel were directed and co-written by Cronk and became bastions of Evangelical propaganda with combined box-offices grosses of over $80 million. He was, however, not directly involved with this year’s much less successful third installment.

Any self-respecting fan of the Hallmark Channel’s many romance movies should be familiar with actor Andrew Walker. Perhaps you saw him woo a movie starlet in Date With Love. Or maybe he warmed your heart in Love on Ice. Or you were swept away by him in Bridal Wave. Or you watched him find A Bride for Christmas. Needless to say, Walker has starred in a lot of romantic tales for the network. But this December, you’ll have to tune into a different channel to watch the Hallmark mainstay’s latest love story.

The latest haunted house horror to burst onto the big screen is 2 Bedroom 1 Bath (review), named so for the typical, banal listing description of an apartment.
It tells the story of Rachel (Michelle Hicks) and Kevin Foster (Andrew W. Walker), a couple who have finally found the ideal home where they can build a future and raise their children. They are hoping it’s a fresh start for their troubled marriage, but as they begin to settle into their new digs, their plans are interrupted by strange occurrences.
As it so happens, director Stanley Yung was inspired by true events when he embarked on this, his first foray into full-on horror. We got a chance to catch up with him at the special event premiere screening of the film, and here’s what he had to say about making a scary movie.

A new trailer and one-sheet have arrived to celebrate the impending theatrical release of Al Bravo Studios and Chemical Mind Studios' new thriller '2 Bedroom 1 Bath'. We must stress that this is in no way connected to the Lionsgate's thriller '2 Br/1 Ba' which stars Alexa Vega ('Machete Kills') and Kathryn Morris even though both titles are concerningly similar. The psychological thriller from writer/director Stanley Yung focuses on a couple whose new 'dream home' isn't quite what they were expecting, particularly highlighted on the new poster by the statment 'Evil Lives Here.' Here's betting that wasn't mentioned on the original listing. The flick stars Michelle Hicks, Andrew W. Walker, Eric Roberts, Costas Mandylor and Dee Wallace. Check out the goods below....

Written by David Loughery (Lakeview Terrace, Passenger 57) and directed by Joseph Ruben (Sleeping With The Enemy, The Forgotten), Penthouse North is a thriller, and an old school one at that, mixing elements of mystery and tense, edge-of-your-seat atmosphere to create a tale of suspense that keeps you entertained for its ninety minute runtime.
The story revolves around Sarah (Monaghan) who lives in a penthouse apartment with her boyfriend, Ryan (Walker), she is a former military photo-journalist who lost her sight while on assignment in Afghanistan, and her relationship with Ryan is about to be explored as he is not all that he seemed.

An international trailer is up for Dimension Films' thriller Penthouse North, starring Michelle Monaghan and Michael Keaton in the Joseph Ruben film. Here, a blind, reclusive photojournalist lives quietly in a New York penthouse, until a smooth but sadistic criminal looking for a hidden fortune enters her life. Also in the cast of the David Lougherty-written film are Andrew W. Walker, Barry Sloane, Kaniehtiio Horn and Trevor Hayes. This does nothing for me, check out the trailer below. It's probably one of the worse trailers I've seen for a while. I don't see any release date either, but I can foresee this hitting DVD and VOD only, with maybe a short, and limited theatrical run, but that's reaching high for this one.

Lifetime has decided that neither of its freshman dramas are worthy of a second season. The cable channel cancelled The Protector in September and they've now canned Against the Wall as well.
Against the Wall stars Rachael Carpani as Abby Kowalski, a single cop who joins the Chicago department's internal affairs division. The series' co-stars include Andrew Walker, Brandon Quinn, Chris Johnson, Daniel Kash, James Thomas, Kathy Baker, Marisa Ramirez, Mayko Nguyen, Steve Byers, and Treat Williams.
Debuting on July 31st, the show attracted a mediocre 1.8 million viewers with a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic, about on par with The Protector. Unfortunately, the numbers didn't improve throughout the season. The 12th and 13th episodes (now the show's last) aired on October 23rd. They each drew 1.4 million viewers and 0.4 demo ratings.

The shows you get out of Lifetime can be pretty hit or miss. That's generally a good thing as far as I'm concerned. You either love Drop Dead Diva, or you hate it, and I for one appreciate the "not for everyone" approach to show design. It's a recipe that gets trickier when you're venturing out into the massively overpopulated world of crime shows though, and Lifetime's new efforts, The Protector and Against the Wall, are faced with a tough road with genre norms butting heads against network image.
Shows focusing on cops and/or crime aren't well-suited to flights of fancy, or niche shtick, like several of Lifetime's other working models, and when people think Lifetime, a network that's going to suck in crime show fans is not exactly what leaps to mind.
I'm still not convinced by Lifetime's effort at balancing things with The Protector.

What better way to celebrate Canada Day than with the release of a movie about life in the Canadian outback before the turn of the century and The Mountie looks like a low-key western (it's a far cry from Paul Gross. Gunless) capable of doing just that.
Co-written and directed by Wyeth Clarkson, he made a bit of a splash with 2006's Sk8 Life, the film stars Andrew W. Walker as Wade Grayling, a lone Mountie who has rolled into a town in the Yukon Territory to clean up the crime and corruption brewing behind closed doors (or in this case, inside tents). The movie also stars the talented Jessica Paré who some may recognize from her recent role on TV.s "Mad Men."

Director/writer: Graham Green.
Writer: Richard Loranger.
There is an old Irish saying: "don't talk about religion or politics." Unfortunately, director Graham Green goes against this advice and so here is the film The Torturer. The film is extremely low action, dramatic, and message heavy. Despite the fact that The Torturer is an advertiser here on 28Dla.com, only some positive bias will enter this review.
The Torturer begins with an unnamed, hooded figure being brought in to an undisclosed location for unpleasant times. The film shifts back and forth between a psychologist's office and a scene of torture. Sometimes a random white van will pop onto the screen, for what no one knows yet. The scenes are interwoven with a strong message about political corruption, atrocities, and the lawlessness of the current political climate. Pretty light stuff, right?

The Torturer is a political thriller that tackles topics like the atrocites at Abu Ghraib, the 9-11 terror attacks, and the continuing presence of America in Iraq. The tense subjects are off-played by the acting stylings of "the three principal actors, Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek), Andrew Walker (Steel Toes), and Mahsa Masoudi." E1 Entertainment will distribute the film and this is Graham Green's first appearance in the director's chair.
