With a title like “New Eden,” you naturally wonder: Who’s the new serpent? More than halfway through For All Mankind’s third season, there are many. The betraying snake could be Will Tyler (Robert Bailey Jr.), the NASA astronaut who outs himself as gay without first running it up the chain of command. Or it could be…...

Although many already considered Zoe Saldana a shoo-in for Avengers: Infinity War, the actress has now confirmed Gamora’s involvement in the 2018 event movie.
Chatting to MTV News, the Guardians star admitted that it’s still fairly early on in development – Infinity War has been in active production for around two months now – and she’s yet to lay eyes on the actual screenplay. What’s more, Saldana doesn’t specify the extent of Gamora’s involvement, but it’s safe to assume her inclusion means that Joe and Anthony Russo’s event movie will indeed make room for Star-Lord, Drax, Groot and Rocket as expected.
Stay tuned for more on that front, but for now, here’s the actress touching base on Gamora’s future and the long hours in the make-up chair that await.

I mean, honestly. Could this show get any hotter?! As if the Klaus and Marcel of it all wasn’t enough, now Tyler’s showing up and Elijah is rocking full on casual attire?! I’m talking jeans, people. Not even a suit jacket this week. Is it just me, or do normal people clothes really set off his cheekbones? Let’s get to it!
Kicking things off with a bang, Marcel was in the middle of hosting fight night, which is basically vampire fight club with a lot more candles. Two vamps beat the crap out of each other...

Get ready for "The Vampire Diaries" college years, as Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice Accola) head to Whitmore College in the Season 5 premiere Thursday (Oct. 3) to begin their freshman year as functional vampires. Too bad things don't go as smoothly as Caroline was hoping ...
The two Mystic Falls grads quickly learn in "I Know What You Did Last Summer" that life as a vampire in higher education has its own problems, Accola warns Zap2it. "When we come into Season 5, Caroline's main objective is to just get to college, find the perfect dorm room, have an amazing year with her boyfriend and with Bonnie and Elena, and basically just have the best freshman year of college experience ever," Accola says. "She's got a bed picked out for Elena, a bed picked out for her, and a bed picked out for Bonnie. The audience is more caught up than Caroline is.

Check out new songs, videos and artists from this week, including Low, Generationals, William Tyler, Phaseone, Foxygen, Hands, National Park System and more. Chilly, minimalist (but optimistic!) electronica has just the right amount high ends and melodic lines. National Park System's "Silver Miner" is techno-drone weekend listening in a close-your-eyes kinda way. This new track is included on "A Visitor's Guide" Ep, out on Jan. 23. Generationals' "Spinoza" has a Sam Prekop-joined-The-Smiths kinda vibe, though I hesitate with the term "throwback." In their other material, the Polyvinyl signees have perfectly formed pop-electronica and Brit-influenced dance. This guitar-conscious track is from...

The Vampire Diaries Spoilers: When Will Tyler Return? And What's Next for Jeremy?
As season 2 of The Vampire Diaries starts to kick it in high gear while approaching the finale, it seems like the cast will be reuniting in Mystic Falls. Tyler has been gone for several episodes now, while Jeremy was also sent off to Denver for his own protection, only to briefly appear at the end of the last episode.
Both men will be appearing in the upcoming April 19 episode of The Vampire Diaries, titled "Heart of Darkness". Tyler finally returns to Mystic Falls, which thrills Caroline to no end, but Tyler soon starts to realize that Klaus has a serious crush on his girl and wonders whether Caroline reciprocates his feelings. Meanwhile, Jeremy will also be seen again when Elena and Damon head to Denver to make sure he's safe. We're not sure whether he's found another town full of vampires,...

When last seen before the 3rd season mid-season break, The Vampire Diaries left us hanging with a dramatic take-down, a clever chess-maneuver, and another breath-taking cliffhanger to tie fans over until the return in the New Year. Fortunately, we have reached 2012 with our hearts still beating and our minds still burning with questions.
Stefan
Where we last saw him: Taunting Klaus with the fact that he has stole Klaus’ entire family from him and taking off with Katherine for parts unknown. Stefan may have begrudgingly saved Damon’s life, but breaking Elena’s heart may be unforgivable. Stefan chose to not turn back on his emotions and reclaim his life with Elena, and instead ran off with his ex-girlfriend. Ouch!
Questions to be answered: Exactly why is Stefan choosing to team up with Katherine and leave Mystic Falls? Is he playing a martyr to draw Klaus away from everyone he loves,...

This review could simply read 'that was awesome' but then this would feel more like Twitter and less of an actual review, I need to get my brain focused after all that crazy bananas action to make this more cohesive. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) returning to Mystic Falls and spending the majority of the episode in the nearly deserted school, made this one tense Vampire Diaries that led to some major events that will shape the rest of the season.
It's never a good sign when a character talks about making the following year great, even if that character is Caroline (Candice Accola) who can find the optimism and pep even in her darkest moments. Also have they not been to all the other events and parties where someone inevitably ends up dead or a little beat up? You would think that they would be prepared for such occasions, especially ones that are for 'making memories.

Rules are made to be broken – especially stupid, self-imposed rules that apply giant blanket statements to something as unique and weird and changeable as love itself. In Blayne Weaver’s 6 Month Rule, writer and director Weaver also stars as Tyler, dude about town, rakish ladies’ man, (somewhat) drunk photographer, and a steadfast believer in a set of rules that he thinks keep their followers from romantic heartbreak. The most important of those rules? There’s no woman so perfect that you can’t get over her in six months. That’s a snappy rule, right? Great way to gird yourself from emotional upheaval? Of course. Tyler really thinks he’s got it all figured out. Until he doesn’t. In the film, Tyler inevitably falls in love (with the very charming Natalie Morales), but their “spooky synchronicity” is made complicated by her douchebag musician boyfriend (Patrick J. Adams) and the albatross that is his heartbroken best friend...

The Vampire Diaries is on hiatus until April 7. We know: Wth?!?!?
But let's at least use this time constructively, shall we?
With the season winding down, and with so many questions still in the air - how will Stefan and Damon kill Klaus? What role will Luka's sister play? Will Tyler return? Will Jenna learn the truth about those around her? Might a key character die? - we're turning the future over to our loyal readers.
What do You think will happen next? How will the season conclude? On what cliffhanger will it leave us heading into the fall?
Sketch out your best guesses, write up a piece of fan fiction that is no more than 150 words and send it to matt@tvfanatic.com. I'll post the best entries as they come in. Keep it clean and have fun!

It appears that The Vampire Diaries is going to go into its mid-season finale with a bang. On the December 9 episode of The Vampire Diaries, Tyler will turn into a werewolf for the first time and we'll get our first look at new guest star Michaela McManus, who will play Jules and is connected to the recently-deceased Mason. It also looks like Katherine will also be appearing in the episode and facing off against Stefan.
Where will the mid-season finale leave off? Will Tyler threaten someone's life while in wolf form? Will Katherine get out of the cave? And what information will Elijah bring to the group? Big things are in store for The Vampire Diaries. Below are promo photos and a synopsis for the December 9 episode.

It's finally happening, "Vampire Diaries" fans: the moment the show has been building toward since the first season, when we first saw Tyler (Michael Trevino) lit by a full moon. He's triggered the Lockwood curse and now he must accept his inevitable fate -- this time, the full moon won't just give him rage issues, it'll turn him into a full-fledged werewolf.
Luckily, he won't have to go it alone -- he's found an unexpected ally in Caroline (Candice Accola). Accola and Trevino stopped by the Zap2it offices today for a little visit, and I had to get all the scoop on their characters' unlikely bond.
We've all been speculating as to whether Caroline and Tyler will ever hook up - Twitter fans even refer to them as "Forwood." (Get it? Caroline Forbes, Tyler Lockwood... yeah.) I'm not a fan of those smushed-together names, though, so from here on...

Tears were shed and heads were shopped off this week on The Vampire Diaries.
Many questions were also answered, tidbits from the past were revealed and new enemies were introduced. In other words: there's A Lot for our staff to analyze in this edition of the TV Fanatic Round Table. Let's get to it...
What was your favorite quote/scene from the episode?
M.L. House: Sorry, fellas, but I go first so I get to choose the obvious: if your eyes didn't well up when Damon admitted his feelings to Elena, replete with a single tear, you're very likely a robot.
Lj Gibbs: You stick with the emotion, M.L., I'll go with the gore. Elijah punched the head off of Trevor. Allow me to repeat that because it's worthy of all caps: Elijah Punched The Head Off Of Trevor.
ViddWizard: Tyler and Caroline arguing over her being a werewolf.

In case Vampire Diaries fans weren't sure about the major development on this week's episode concerning Tyler, Michael Trevino has a message:

What comes next?
It’s at the point where the next few episodes are going to be about preparing for the next full moon that comes. You’re gonna see Tyler do more research, because now he realizes he’s not going to be able to stop himself — it’s just inevitable.
What will Tyler do when the full moon hits?
We have not shot that... I would think that he’s gonna go down to those old ruins were Mason was and probably do what...

Most shocking development of the night: Stefan's return to human blood, Caroline outing herself to her mom, or Mason's alliance with Katherine?
M.L. House: The alliance. Not simply because these two are now working together, but because it was revealed how Katherine entered Mason's life at least a year earlier. So many questions from this surprise and directions it can go in...
Elena: Most definitely Mason's alliance with Katherine. There's nobody who can say they saw that coming.
ViddWizard: Let me add most boneheaded, in addition to most shocking. Caroline has not been known for good judgment. But eating one of her mom's officers and stepping into the light in full vamp mode could have been better thought out.

Thank heavens for the rise of electronic books--burning these, instead of the paper kind, as a hate crime (after flip-flopping on your decision when the world media and the President pins you with criticism) would also violate toxic fumes/smoke-free zoning laws.

One thing I love about "The Vampire Diaries" is that questions don't tend to go unanswered for long. We're not going to wait six seasons to discover why they're on the island, if you catch my drift.
Of course, that doesn't mean we aren't left with a few cliffhangers here and there. The Season 1 finale was a game-changer.
I thought I'd compile some of the questions that I (and all my Twitter friends!) have about the Mystic Falls ensemble before Season 2 premieres on September 9th. If I missed any, be sure to chime in below in the comments section. I love hearing your thoughts.
How did Pearl (Kelly Hu) and Anna (Malese Jow) become vampires? Anna's death certainly served its purpose in pushing Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) over the edge into full-on teen-angst pill-popping blood-drinking, but I'm really going to miss Malese Jow on the show -- it was always...

We're halfway through V's current run on ABC (the back nine episodes are slated to air after the Olympics), so with two episodes remaining--including tonight's at 8 pm Et/Pt, I am wondering just what you think will go down over the next two weeks. Unlike the first two episodes, I haven't yet seen tonight's installment of V, so I am as much in the dark about what will happen just as much as you are. But I am curious to know just what viewers of the alien invasion drama Want to see happen tonight and next week and what you think Will actually happen. Among the questions up for debate: Just what is Anna's plan and will we find out what the Vs want from Earth's inhabitants? Will Chad fall under her spell? Will Ryan be able to keep Valerie safe? Will Dale come gunning for Erica? Is the old priest a Visitor in disguise?...

So apparently, Universal Pictures used fabricated news archives to promote "The Fourth Kind." Fabrication? Really?
According to the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner:
Universal created an elaborate series of online news articles in the promotion for its movie, .The Fourth Kind.. The movie claims to be a true story about a plague of alien abductions in Nome a decade ago.
To bolster that claim, articles were posted that professed to be from real Alaska publications, but were actually created to bolster the movie.s storyline.

Milla Jovovich in The Fourth Kind
Photo: Universal Pictures I saw The Fourth Kind last night and while I'm not allowed to review it until this coming Friday, I did want to talk about it a little bit beforehand and share with you what little information I know.
I hadn't watched a trailer before going into the film so my only knowledge was that it was about alien abduction in some form or another. I have since watched the trailer (watch it to the right) and the footage of Milla Jovovich explaining what you are about to watch is included at the front of the film and extended. Jovovich portrays psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler and the film includes what is said to be "actual video footage" featuring Tyler's sessions with patients she places under hypnosis to help them remember things their minds have forced them to forget.
The film is set in Nome,...
