- [on the helicopter scene in Captain America: Civil War] We shot that scene early on and I remember Anthony [Russo, his co-director and brother] telling the writers, 'You would not believe what we shot today!'. We kinda joke that it is actually a character shot but we are really focusing very hard on his character's arms! I mean you literally see his character bulging out of his massive biceps. The guy [Chris Evans] gets so ripped to play the part. The whole group gathered around when we shot it and were marveling at him, just like, 'I can't believe how big his guns are.'
- Auteur filmmaking is 50 years old at this point. It was conceived in the '70s, we grew up on that. We were kids, it was really important to us. But we're also aware that the world needs to change and the more that we try to prevent it from changing, the more chaos we create. It's not anyone's place to reject the next generation's ideas.
