“Crisis on Infinite Earths” is just two weeks away from arriving at last. And, following on from last week’s release of images from Parts One and Two, The CW has just dropped a boatload of promo photos for the third chapter in the must-see Arrowverse event. Among many other things, the pics tease many of the team-ups we can expect from the crossover – chief among them, the arrival of Cress Williams’ Black Lightning and the return of John Wesley Shipp as Earth-90’s Flash.
Be sure to check them out, along with the plot summary, down below:

A Crisis is coming – specifically, it’s kicking off on December 8th. The crossover we’ve all been waiting for is finally on the horizon and so The CW is rolling out some official synopses for the five episodes that comprise the event, and they give us our clearest feel yet for how the storyline will develop.
This synopsis for “Part Three” of “Crisis on Infinite Earths” confirms that this is the installment which will cross Black Lightning over to the Arrowverse at last, with Tom Cavanagh’s Pariah being the one to transport him over to Earth-1. What’s more, the description settles a mystery fans have been chewing over for a while: which one of his many characters John Wesley Shipp will play in “Crisis.” It’s Earth-90’s Flash, the role he first portrayed back in 1990.

Hey, fellow "All American" fans. Tonight, November 4, 2019, is a very unfortunate night for your favorite show. It's that time of the year again. For some reason, The CW will not be airing the new episode 5 of this current second season tonight. The good news is that episode 5 will only be delayed for this one week. Episode 5 is currently scheduled to air next Monday night, November 11, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on The CW of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars. What will the CW be airing tonight instead of "All American?" If that's what you're thinking, it's a very solid question. According to the TV Guide listings,The CW is actually airing an episode of "All American" tonight. However, the episode they're airing is a rerun of the premiere episode 1 of this season 2. That episode is titled, "Hussle & Motivate.

Based on the cliffhanger to last month’s “What’s Past is Prologue” alone, it’s only fair to assume that the Nora West-Allen-Eobard Thawne dynamic will factor heavily into season 5B. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to learn the full details of their collusion, and how Thawne’s manipulation of the young heroine factors into what is undoubtedly a grand scheme of his.
Having fired off those points, it’s no surprise this element was given focus in the latest trailer teasing what’s to come upon The Flash‘s return. Seen at the top of this article, the new footage presented offers us some light-hearted moments shared by Barry and Nora – only to tear the rug out from under us by revealing she’ll be paralyzed by Cicada.

When it comes to fans of Caitlin Snow, I imagine there to be just as many of those who favor her normal guise just as there are those who dig her Killer Frost persona. Actually, they’re two distinct women living within the same body, so it’s important we not confuse her with those who simply suit up and fight crime.
Funny enough, they’ve begun working in tandem in recent months, even leaving notes for each other. Personally, I love seeing as much of the Killer Frost half of the equation as I can, though it’s hard to part with Caitlin herself because she’s been around since the pilot episode. Perhaps it’s conflicted viewers like myself who’ve forced the producers to continue giving us the best of both worlds.
Well, when we join The Flash for its midseason premiere next week, expect for both personalities to make an appearance.

Having already treated us to a new trailer and promotional poster this month, it looks as though The CW aren’t through spoiling us with goodies pertaining to The Flash‘s fifth season. This time, they deliver with quite the intriguing synopsis hyping the premiere episode, which has been appropriately titled “Nora.”
To be honest, the disclosing of the following description was to be expected, as the network often drops nuggets such as these three weeks ahead of showtime. That said, we should be receiving at least a couple more teasing the next two episodes before the premiere even airs.
Without further delay though, here’s what to expect when the story resumes:
After an unexpected guest from the future, Nora West-Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy), appears at their home, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris must figure out how to get her back to the future without disrupting the timeline…even more than she already has.

Although it may have come as a shock to some, Clifford DeVoe kickstarting the Enlightenment was something that needed to happen going into The Flash‘s season finale. I mean, how are we to take the Thinker seriously if he can’t enjoy some sort of victory every now and then?
But that’s only just the beginning of the craziness to be witnessed in less than one week’s time because, as the extended trailer seen above teaches us, the Scarlet Speedster will actually be venturing into the big bad’s mind as part of the climactic showdown. It’s a huge risk for our hero to take, sure, but it could make for one surreal viewing experience.

Although it ended up coming as somewhat of a shock when it finally happened, a good amount of us must admit that we saw Marlize DeVoe’s betrayal of her husband, Clifford, coming. After all, we’d gotten inklings she was ready to jump ship on previous episodes of The Flash, and his fanatical behavior this past week gave her the last amount of incentive required. Granted, she swallowed his B.S. for years, but there eventually comes the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Having said all that, Marlize has to be at the top of our list when it comes to whomever may be the one to tip the scales in favor of the Star Labs crew. We make that bold claim because the official synopsis for the season finale, “We Are The Flash,” promises a “surprise ally” of some sort. And to be honest, doesn’t she just fit the bill?...

As someone who’s enjoyed watching The Flash since the pilot episode aired three years ago, it’s very hard to overlook the fact that season 4 has gotten off to a pretty rough start. After witnessing the seriousness of season 3 – a season that I actually liked, by the way – it seems like the solution the powers-that-be arrived at was to go so far in the opposite direction that they turned the show into a flat-out comedy. Really, I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if slide whistles and “boing” noises were to be added in post-production for upcoming episodes.
Still, there has been some hope given, and that’s come in the form of this year’s big bad, the Thinker. Granted, there’s been much mystery surrounding him and his screentime thus far has been kept to a minimum, but the guy’s appearance is downright frightening, as...

Aside from being treated to a nifty Cheetah teaser last night, The Flash shocked us all by doing the unthinkable – killing off Iris West, the series’ female lead and longtime lover of the Scarlet Speedster in the comics. I mean, the entire season had been building to this and Team Flash did all they could to avert it, but did any of us really think the producers would actually pull the trigger? Don’t raise your hands all at once.
As we were saying, Savitar actually succeeded in impaling Iris in the closing moments of “Infantino Street,” which came as double the surprise because you’d think that something such as this would be saved for the season finale. It makes us question just what’s going to happen next week.

Earlier today, The CW released episode descriptions for instalments of Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl which air the week beginning May 8th. With just a handful of chapters left in each series before they wrap up for the year, big things are on the way for our beloved heroes, something which is evident from each of the synopses below.
For starters, we have Supergirl. In “City of Lost Children,” James Olsen’s Guardians will take centre stage as he steps up to help save National City alongside Kara.
When an alien attacks National City, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the Deo learn the alien is a Phorian, an otherwise peaceful race with telekinetic powers. Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) gets a lead on the Phorian’s address but instead of finding the culprit, he finds a very scared boy named Marcus (guest star Lonnie Chavis). Marcus will only trust James so it is...

The CW’s DC TV offerings return next week, but the network has today released the official descriptions for the episodes of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl which will air the week beginning February 6th. There aren’t too many major reveals here, but each of them sounds pretty fun in their own way.
First up is Supergirl. In an episode titled “The Martian Chronicles,” it sounds like we should expect the Girl of Steel to find herself caught in a crossfire between Martian Manhunter and the White Martians, the villainous alien race who wiped his people (and family) out on Mars.

3.10 Evermore
This is what has been missing all along, and this is what I've been asking for since the beginning of the season. Joe and Ryan, the two most important characters on the show, trapped in a room together and forced to examine their codependent relationship in great depth and detail. Dreaming about one another, little conversations through glass windows or from behind bars, and finally, ten episodes into the show, we get something that actually matters between the two characters capable of holding our interest just through a conversation.
Joe, who we last saw making a shank out of a pair of sunglasses he pried off the dead body of Theo's mouthpiece, is facing his execution. The guards take him into the preparation room, he has a brief meeting with his lawyer,...
