It is often said that some actors are just destined to play some roles. Just as Robert Downey Jr. was apparently destined to play Iron Man, Daniel Radcliffe to play Harry Potter, Henry Cavill to play Superman, Val Kilmer too was supposedly set to play Batman at least once.

Despite having starred in just one Dark Knight movie, Batman Forever, Kilmer did a spectacular job of portraying the iconic superhero. The big-screen adaptations of Ian Fleming’s James Bond have never really been known for being faithful to their source material. Apart from some initial releases, such as On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and Thunderball, most films haven’t gone past the title of the books when it comes to borrowing material for the silver screen.
As a result, after rumors emerged claiming that Christopher Nolan was in talks to make a faithful adaptation of Fleming’s work, fans were elated. But as the story goes, these claims turned out to be false. However, had Quentin Tarantino got the ball running for his version of Casino Royale, fans would’ve witnessed a pretty truthful adaptation of the author’s first Bond novel.

The last time Netflix’s The Witcher looked like it was off to a good start was before it even premiered. Frustrated by having to constantly fight for every bit of lore, Henry Cavill quit the series after S3.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is not only stealing hearts, but he seems to be stealing quite a few perfect roles from major franchises too. Besides having his recent film The Fall Guy released in the theatres (he stars as Tom Ryder in it), he has another Marvel movie lined up, which, unfortunately, recently faced yet another postponed release date: Kraven the Hunter.

Although it is not new for the franchise to shift the release dates further down the road, this news still has fans springing up with conspiracy theories. That being said, one theory states that this further delay is presumably because of Taylor-Johnson’s casting as the new James Bond. And, as much as it would sound appealing to his fans, this theory might as well piss off Henry Cavill fans.

According to rumors, James Gunn will make Green Arrow a part of his Justice League team in the Dcu. The character has a decent fanbase, thanks to Stephen Amell’s eight-season run as Oliver Queen in The CW show, Arrow. Earlier, Zack Snyder tried to include the character in the Dceu, with another actor considered for the role, but it didn’t ultimately work out. Interestingly, rumors also suggest that Dcu will make Black Canary his partner.

Although Liam Hemsworth is nowhere to blame for the criticism these decisions are getting, he has unfortunately become the face of them.

When The Witcher returns to Netflix with its fourth and penultimate season, it will be with a new actor playing Geralt of Rivia. As we're sure you're aware, Henry Cavill left the series shortly after season 3, with The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth tapped to replace him soon after.
While we've spotted Hemsworth in set photos, an official look at the Australian actor in the role has been shared by Entertainment Weekly (via SFFGazette.com).
That's accompanied by a teaser which we've also included below. It doesn't reveal much but is a suitably moody glimpse at what's to come which points to the actor being a decent successor to the Man of Steel star.
"His look has been in development for over a year, so it’s thrilling to finally share an official sneak peek of Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia," The Witcher showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich tells them.

Netflix has officially revealed a first look at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia in the upcoming fourth season of The Witcher in a new video.
After the shocking, Continent-altering events that close out season three, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri, who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other. If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire and finding one another again.
The streaming service previously gave the green light to Season 5 of The Witcher, which will film back-to-back with Season 4 and will be the final chapter in Geralt’s story.
Seasons 4 and 5 will adapt the remaining Sapkowski books, Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake, promising an epic and satisfying conclusion to Netflix’s hit fantasy drama.

It’s been almost ten years since The Hunger Games’ last installment hit the cinemas, but nobody from the main cast has been left in the shadows ever since.
Though Suzanne Collins’ widely famous franchise is expanding its universe and has recently got a brand new ramification titled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the original movies are still a frequent binge-watch choice for many fans craving some nostalgia from the past years.
Back in the day, The Hunger Games was a huge success garnering more than $3 billion in total, and it definitely came as a big moment of fame for the franchise’s leading actors whose careers later on skyrocketed for good.
Years after the movie trilogy came to its end, all of them are still doing pretty good.

Taylor Sheridanʼs saga of nightmarish terror on the borders that reverberated through the screens across the globe in Emily Bluntʼs 2015 blockbuster, Sicario, had a much greater war on sexism and misogyny raging in the backdrop. While the narrative on the drug war and the violence associated with it found a voice onscreen, the same cannot be said about the directorʼs war against the studio execs to make his vision of a dream cast come true.

The world of comic book movies stands largely on the shoulders of devoted actors who have dedicated a large portion of their careers to playing famed roles. From Chris Evans as Captain America to Scarlett Johanson as Black Widow, the list goes on. However, in terms of holding on to that role for the longest time ever, no one comes close to Hugh Jackman and his stint as Wolverine. However, despite a staggering tenure of 24 years and continuing, the actor has not evaded the thought of letting go of his character.
