When Hugh Jackman bid farewell to Wolverine in 2017's Logan, it was unclear what 20th Century Fox had planned for the clawed mutant moving forward.
Had the Disney/Fox merger not happened (and assuming Dark Phoenix didn't bomb), the next X-Men movie would have likely shifted focus to the 2000s. Given Wolverine's popularity, we'd imagine the idea was to recast the role if not there, then definitely somewhere down the line.
Fortunately, Marvel Studios and Ryan Reynolds managed to convince Jackman to reprise the role for Deadpool & Wolverine. In an interview with People, the actor explained why he walked away from Logan in the first place.
"I had got to the point probably 10 years ago I was like, I'm not enjoying it. It was hurting. It was tough," Jackman admits. "But I've had a break, and I've been doing a lot of dance. I've been doing stage shows. And so...

With Deadpool & Wolverine set to be released in theaters this July, Marvel Comics is getting in on the fun with special variant covers featuring the characters as they'll appear in the MCU.
A special team-up story (set in the comic book Marvel Universe) titled Weapon X-Traction will run as backup tales in eight Marvel titles this summer, with each of those issues boasting movie-themed covers. The story comes our way from writer Ryan North (Fantastic Four) and atrist Javier Garrón (Avengers).
It all kicks off with July's Incredible Hulk #14 and continues through August; while that opening chapter will have a teaser variant cover that uses Garrón’s promotional art for the story, the rest boast pieces made in honour of the upcoming film. They're illustrated by some of the industry’s hottest artists including Steve McNiven, Ryan Stegman, Jorge Molina, Cafu, Declan Shalvey and David Nakayama.

After the success of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, many fans are already anticipating the director’s next project. Unfortunately, producer Emma Thomas, his wife, has upsetting news. The filmmaker may take his time before he gets to produce another masterpiece.
Christopher Nolan on the set of Tenet / Warner Bros Pictures
It is evident that Nolan worked tremendously hard on Oppenheimer, and with that kind of massive production and award-winning storyline, he would need new creative inspiration to work on his next endeavor.
Christopher Nolan On His Next Hollywood Project
In an interview with Empire via Twitter, producer Emma Thomas revealed they have not started any new project nor thought of new concepts to bring to the screen.
I would say it’s very exciting. This is the moment where the possibilities are sort of limitless, we haven’t started thinking practicalities, or anything. Oppenheimer was so absurdly successful and we...

Renowned for his innovative and often conceptually rich storytelling, Christopher Nolan has carved out a distinctive niche for himself by delivering visually stunning narratives on the big screen, specifically in IMAX format. Whether it is Interstellar, The Dark Knight trilogy, or the Oscar-winning blockbuster Oppenheimer, the filmmaker constructs cinematic worlds with minimal reliance on CGI, opting instead for practical methods to breathe life into his creations.

One cannot overlook the pivotal role played by high-resolution IMAX cameras, which have been integral to Nolan’s filmmaking journey since the 2010 superhero film, The Dark Knight. Reflecting on the resources at his disposal, Nolan addressed how they are not universally accessible to every filmmaker and how he takes it as a responsibility to utilize them most productively and creatively possible.

Deadpool & Wolverine will finally bring the Merc with the Mouth and Logan together, and while we're expecting heaps of cameos, there's one we know many of you are eager to see on screen this July.
In case it wasn't already obvious, we're talking about The Hulk. Wolverine debuted in the pages of The Incredible Hulk #180 for an unforgettable clash with the Jade Giant, and Marvel Studios now has the opportunity to recreate that somewhere in the Multiverse.
Offering us an idea of what it might look like is a new fan poster which sees Wolverine and The Hulk in the thick of battle.
As much as we'd love to see this in Deadpool & Wolverine, we wouldn't be surprised if Marvel Studios is saving this for Avengers: Secret Wars. Then again, with The Hulk brought to life with VFX, it might be easy enough to insert the Green Goliath into Wade Wilson and Logan's team-up.

The marketing campaign for Deadpool & Wolverine went into high gear earlier this week when tickets went on sale, but there's still a huge amount we don't know about the movie.
While there are plenty of rumours out there, the trailers have only hinted at the threequel's Multiversal elements with glimpses of the Tva and The Void. Only time will tell whether Taylor Swift dazzles us and the original X-Men return, but at least one cameo has now been confirmed.
In the latest episode of FX's Welcome to Wrexham, Rob McElhenney visits Ryan Reynolds on Deadpool & Wolverine's set to film a cameo.
The actor hides his costume beneath a robe, but there's one shot (at the 2:04 mark) where we can quite clearly see the Time Variance Authority logo on his upper chest. Reynolds even hints that he's playing one of their agents, and it's confirmed here.

During this year's CinemaCon, attendees were treated to a special Deadpool & Wolverine PSA. That featured both characters going on a foul-mouthed tirade aimed at moviegoers who don't silence their cellphones. Now, it's found its way online!
The video has started playing in theaters and hasn't been "officially" released (at least not yet). However, we have a version recorded by a fan and this thing is absolutely hilarious.
A very angry Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) makes a series of threats before being calmed down by the Merc with the Mouth (Ryan Reynolds). Things between them get weird fast, but it's clear the clawed mutant doesn't appreciate seeing someone's phone light up or start ringing during a trip to the movies.
This Variant of Logan also appears to have a short temper, something we're sure contributes to his hatred of the chatty Wade Wilson.

Deadpool & Wolverine Stars Tease Cassandra Nova's "Unpredictability" And Reveal Surprise Inspiration
While we've seen a lot from Deadpool & Wolverine in recent weeks, much of the threequel is shrouded in secrecy. The latest trailer offered a glimpse at the movie's villain, Cassandra Nova, though we still don't know what she's up to in The Void.
The prevailing theory is that the twisted twin sister of Professor X hails from the same reality as Deadpool & Wolverine's Logan. If she killed the X-Men before being pruned, it would go a long way in establishing Nova as a threat to the heroes and perhaps even the wider Multiverse.
In a profile of Emma Corrin on Harper's Bazaar, the actor (who uses they/them pronouns), refuses to say too much about playing the villain but confirmed Christoph Waltz's Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds was a key source of inspiration.
"Because he’s in that uniform, that says everything you need to know,...

Deadpool & Wolverine has all the makings of a $1 billion hit. Those have become a rarity since the pandemic and, in the eyes of many, this will be the movie that puts the Marvel Cinematic Universe back on the right track.
Fans are understandably thrilled to see the Merc with the Mouth and Logan share the screen, though there were initial concerns about bringing Hugh Jackman back into the fold after what proved to be a perfect send-off in 2017.
Logan killed the clawed mutant in a way he can't come back from. Undoing that would be nothing short of sacrilegious, but the latest trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine confirmed this is a Variant of the X-Man who somehow failed his world.
Now, the first meeting between Wade Wilson and Logan is spotlighted in a new still from the upcoming threequel.

Earlier today, we brought you news about Deadpool & Wolverine's record-breaking first day of ticket sales. The Hollywood Reporter has since crunched the numbers, revealing that those stats likely translate into roughly $8 million - $9 million in presales.
Deadline has provided further context, revealing that the movie has topped the 24-hour advance ticket sales for The Batman ($6.5 million) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ($6 million).
Those eventually went on to make $134 million and $118.4 million during their respective 3-day opening weekends.
You likely won't be surprised to learn that Deadpool & Wolverine is now eyeing a debut of well over $100 million in North America; only time will tell whether it manages to beat Deadpool ($132.4 million) and Deadpool 2 ($125 million), particularly in this post-pandemic landscape.
"We come to this movie...I definitely come to this movie...as a fan," director Shawn Levy recently said of the threequel. "A fan of the...

Deadpool & Wolverine "This Is Cinema" Promo Reveals New Footage From Wade Wilson And Logan's Team-Up
"This. Is. Cinema."
Marvel Studios has released a new promo for Deadpool & Wolverine which sees the Merc with the Mouth brace us for what's to come in the threequel.
Much of what he says appears to have been taken from the recent recording session Ryan Reynolds shared footage from, but there are some never-before-seen snippets of footage to be found here as well.
That includes a new look at Giant-Man's remains in The Void and a Paul Rudd joke previously only seen after fans recorded part of an IMAX-exclusive Deadpool & Wolverine sneak peek in theaters.
"If audiences feel one ounce of what I felt every day, which is, 'It's Wolverine and Deadpool,'" director Shawn Levy recently enthused. "It's these guys as their most legendary, iconic characters at the top of their game. Together, it's just...audience delight. I felt it every day at work."

The third film in Marvel’s Deadpool franchise, Deadpool & Wolverine, is touching ticket buyers in the money maker ahead of its theatrical release on July 26. What? I’m talking about wallets! Get your head out of the gutter. According to Fandango, Marvel Studios’ upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film has broken Fandango’s best first-day ticket sales record for 2024. The film is also the best first-day pre-seller from the Deadpool franchise, surpassing the first day of ticket sales for Deadpool and Deadpool 2.
“Deadpool and Wolverine are proving to be the dynamic duo, smashing records before appearing on the big screen,” said Jerramy Hainline, EVP of Fandango Ticketing. “The success of the film’s ticket pre-sales is a testament to the strong appeal and excitement these iconic characters bring to audiences across the nation.”

Tickets for Deadpool & Wolverine went on sale yesterday and there's clearly a lot of excitement for the movie. According to Fandango, the Marvel Studios movie has broken the 2024 record for best first-day ticket sales.
It's also outpacing Deadpool and Deadpool 2, suggesting the movie will be a box office hit when it opens this July.
After a string of titles have underperformed in recent weeks, exhibitors are desperate for a superhero blockbuster like Deadpool & Wolverine. Unfortunately, last year's strikes mean that's all they (and us) are getting in 2024. Joker: Folie à Deux will likely be a hit, though it's a very different beast and we're not expecting much from Kraven the Hunter.
With this news comes a new still from the movie showcasing Ryan Reynolds' Merc with the Mouth alongside Hugh Jackman's Logan. The latter still isn't wearing his mask, but is sleeveless in this shot.

Let’s not beat around the bush; Marvel’s going through something right now. The superhero studio’s recent output has simply exhausted both casual and hardcore fans alike.
The sentiment appears to be close to universal too: amidst the avalanche of MCU content, there have been too few hits and too many misses. The fact that Bob Iger, Disney’s Chief Executive Officer, has publicly said that they’re going to change strategy and “slowly decrease volume” tells you everything you need to know.
So how does Marvel proceed from here? MCU mastermind Kevin Feige is seemingly planning to course-correct by re-assembling the Avengers sooner rather than later. Next year alone will see the release of Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, The Fantastic Four, and Blade, followed a few months later by a new Avengers—previously subtitled “The Kang Dynasty,” though that’s reportedly been abandoned.
It’s a sensible play.

2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the clawed mutant's first solo movie...and an utter disappointment. Despite that, the hero did ultimately get a (somewhat disjointed) trilogy thanks to The Wolverine and Logan, with both proving to be significant improvements.
The latter ended Hugh Jackman's run as Wolverine by killing the character, and we expected that to be it for him. Heck, so did the actor himself as Jackman confirmed on multiple occasions that he was retiring from a role he'd been cast in nearly two decades earlier.
Ryan Reynolds managed to convince Jackman to make a comeback and he'll now play a different Wolverine Variant in this summer's Deadpool & Wolverine.
Recently Jackman spoke to Fandango about what drew him back to the Marvel Universe (we don't anticipate this being a one-and-done as Jackman is a dead cert for Avengers: Secret Wars). Unsurprisingly, it sounds like the chance to...

Tickets for Deadpool & Wolverine went on sale earlier today and, if what we're seeing on social media is any indication, they're selling out fast.
Now, in what we'd imagine is the first of many tongue-in-cheek promos, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman come together to remind fans that tickets are currently available.
There's a cheeky shot at the latter's Tony Awards success before things get awkward as both actors reflect on a brutal fight scene between the movie's title characters. Oh, and the whole thing kicks off with Reynolds slowly peeling a banana to Madonna's "Like A Prayer."
While we're pretty sure there are at least a few snippets of new footage in there, that familiar shot of Logan sinking his claws into the Merc with the Mouth's crotch doesn't get any easier to watch!

We've been hearing rumbling this week about tickets for Deadpool & Wolverine going on sale tomorrow, but Ryan Reynolds has finally confirmed it with a fun - and very literal - new poster.
With the threequel still over two months away, Marvel Studios is clearly keen to gauge interest in the movie. Recent weeks have seen us get a trailer, magazine covers, and a lot of stills, so now is probably a good time to start selling tickets.
Rumour has it that another sneak peek will also drop tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see whether it features a huge reveal meant to further increase excitement for the Merc with the Mouth and Logan's long-awaited team-up.
If nothing else, we'd expect the usual posers from companies like IMAX, 4Dx, and RealD 3D. Neither Reynolds nor the official Deadpool social media accounts have confirmed an on-sale time for tickets, so you'll...

Ahsoka was a successful Star Wars show that received high viewership and critical acclaim. While the series enjoys a vast family fanbase, there are hardcore fans who believe that it couldn’t live up to the gritty storytelling of Andor. Ian McKellen is an Oscar-nominated thespian whomhas excelled at everything from Shakespeare to sci-fi on both the stage and screen. Let’s take a look back at 12 of his greatest films, ranked worst to best.
Born in 1939 in Lancashire, England, McKellen first came to prominence on the stage, appearing in a number of classic plays from the likes of Anton Chekhov and William Shakespeare (including an acclaimed production of “Richard III” that he brought to the screen in 1995). Beau DeMayo has been at the center of media attention ever since X-Men ’97 started airing. While the show has been an absolute hit, many fans were confused when the executive producer was fired from his position eight days before the series aired. Such a drastic decision was quite surprising, as not only did he produce the series, but he was also the sole creator of it.
Beau DeMayo was an important part of X-Men ’97
Since the news hit the internet, many have been wondering if he will be coming back for the second season now that the first has concluded. While the writer has confirmed that he was a big part of the writing of season 2, his exit made his involvement quite hazy. However, a recent interview may have confirmed his standing with the franchise.

After a busy couple of weeks which saw us getting almost daily Deadpool & Wolverine updates, it's been all quiet lately. Yes, there's a rumoured runtime floating around (we've heard it's inaccurate) but that's really been it.
Now, though, Marvel Studios has released a new behind-the-scenes still showing director Shawn Levy and stars Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) on the threequel's Time Variance Authority set.
Those colourful costumes pop and, yet again, there's no sign of Logan's mask. It's either only in Deadpool & Wolverine for a scene or two or it's been decided that covering Jackman's face in marketing materials isn't a wise move.
"Everyone assumed that Hugh's return was the result of me or Ryan pestering or pitching him relentlessly," Levy recently said of Jackman's return as Wolverine. "But even more miraculously, this was the result of a Hugh Jackman epiphany. He wanted to do...

The question of the creature that fell from the sky, arose after the release of the first promos and trailers for the first season of The Rings of Power.
The sneak peek even showed the meteorite fall scene almost in its entirety: a bright ball of light crossed the entire sky, caught the eyes of all the main characters, and fell in Rhovanion.
There Are Many Hints in The Rings of Power Season 1 that The Stranger is Gandalf
The man was found by two Harfoots, the curious Nori and her more cautious friend Poppy. When the man climbed out of the hole left by the meteorite's fall, several things became clear: he possesses magic, but does not speak any language known to the Harfoots and cannot remember anything, including his name.

The X-Men have always been some of the most prominent characters in the Marvel comics, even though their film-based adaptations after Logan were not that kindly received by fans. However, with the recently released titular smash-hit animated series and the sequel of the original series from 1992 on these mutants, this band of heroes just may be reclaiming their lost position.

Adding to this are Hugh Jackman and other actors from the movies returning to reprise their iconic mutants in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine, which further paves the way for even more actors from the original saga to return. That said, Shawn Ashmore, who played Iceman in the original film series, has expressed his wish to join the Marvel Universe as well.

Guillermo del Toro is renowned for the many masterpieces he has created. His artistic prowess has allowed a certain sense of faith that fans find themselves with because of the darker elements he is willing to tap into. As someone who has always found himself liking darker sketches and the scary side of things, exploring the gothic storylines isn’t something the director is afraid of.

Prequels and spin-offs were made and fans seemed to receive them all with great anticipation. However, one project, in particular, is yet to be looked at.

Paul Simon appeared as the musical guest on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night to perform “Slip Slidin’ Away” in celebration of Colbert’s 60th birthday.
Simon, 82, staged a faithful, intimate rendition of “Slip Slidin’ Away” with just an acoustic guitar and a microphone. The song, which originally appeared on Simon’s 1977 compilation album Greatest Hits, Etc., has become a fan-favorite since its release. Watch Simon’s stirring performance of the track below.
Colbert opened the show by announcing his 60th birthday, joking, “I am now the same age as Ian McKellen when he was cast as Gandalf.” Before Simon’s closing performance, the show’s guest was longtime Colbert collaborator Steve Carrell. The two discussed their early days performing in Chicago, Carrell’s recent run in Uncle Vanya on Broadway, and they reprised their “Even Stevphen” segment from their days as correspondents on The Daily Show.

Judi Dench has become the latest actor to rail against trigger warnings in the theatre, telling people to stay at home if they are sensitive.
The Oscar-winning actress said she was surprised to learn that audiences were routinely being warned about potentially distressing content, including abuse, violence, and loud noises.
“Do they do that?” Dench told the UK’s Radio Times: “It must be a pretty long trigger warning before King Lear or Titus Andronicus.”
She added: “I can see why they exist, but if you’re that sensitive, don’t go to the theatre, because you could be very shocked. Where is the surprise of seeing and understanding it in your own way?”
Dench, whose stage credits include Lady Macbeth, echoed the sentiments of others when noting her discomfort with trigger warnings.
Ralph Fiennes said theatregoers had “gone soft” in an interview with the BBC earlier this year.

Viggo Mortensen will forever be synonymous with his role in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The actor played the role of Aragorn in all three films and was the sworn protector of Frodo and Sam in their journey from the Shire to Mount Doom. The actor won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast In A Motion Picture for The Return of the King.
While the final film in the trilogy made history for being the first fantasy film to win Best Picture at the Oscars, Mortensen seemed to have a less-than-stellar opinion about the movie. He mentioned how the last two films leaned more towards CGI and visual effects as opposed to the practical effects of The Fellowship of the Ring, which seemed to have carried over to Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy.

For the followers of the lore of Lord of the Rings, Elijah Wood aka Frodo Baggins was burdened with the responsibility to tend to the fate of Middle-earth and its occupants. It was a journey that traversed Tolkien’s landscape, charted territories unknown to man, and overcame hurdles that would have defeated even the bravest soldiers. To Wood’s hobbit, this journey entailed everything.

Thor Star Chris Hemsworth Reveals Whether He Shot A Deadpool & Wolverine Cameo After CinemaCon Tease
At this year's CinemaCon, a new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer was shown to attendees. Vague descriptions soon found their way online, including an intriguing exchange between the Merc with the Mouth and the Tva's Mr. Paradox.
In that, Deadpool spotted a monitor showing Thor crying over his fallen body, with Paradox telling Wade Wilson it was something which hadn't happened yet.
At the time, we were left in the dark in terms of whether it was a newly shot scene or edited archival footage. However, ComicBook.com recently caught up with Chris Hemsworth to discuss Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and confirmed the scene was lifted from 2013's Thor: The Dark World (replacing Loki with Deadpool).
"It's really cool," Hemsworth said of the footage being re-used. "You kind of forget and be like, 'Oh, cool! I'm part of the team. They're talking about me!' when I'm not in it.

Adapted from J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings book series, Peter Jackson created one of the most epic film franchises that masterfully captures the source material’s immersive world and multi-layered characters. The film’s core has the timeless themes of heroism, battles against overwhelming evil, and an epic journey of human experience. The epic saga features one of the most chilling battle scenes in Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, The Battle of Helm Deep.

However, things did not go well when Barrie Osborne was forced to share a message with the filmmaker when he was creating the legendary moment of the film. This resulted in Jackson bursting out in rage, as talking to the film’s executive over the film’s budget was the least significant task for him, at that point of time.

The “Ted” prequel series has been renewed for Season 2 at Peacock, Variety has learned.
Originally presented as an event series, the seven-episode first season of “Ted” debuted on the streamer in January. It serves as a prequel to the two “Ted” feature films, which were released in 2012 and 2015.
Per Peacock, the show became its most-watched original title to date and was also the top streaming comedy in the U.S. for more than two consecutive months, according to Nielsen data.
The series takes place in the early 1990s in Framingham, Mass. It follows the lives of Ted (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) and his 16 year old best friend, John (Max Burkholder). Ted’s fame has waned and he is now once again living with John and his family.
The series also stars Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach as John’s parents, Matty and Susan, along with Giorgia Whigham as John’s cousin Blaire.

There exists in abundance, several pieces of fictional works set in fantasy lands and places, consisting of unrealistic characters with unimaginable powers and abilities. Of these, George R. R. Tolkien dealt with one fan-favorite The Lord of The Rings character.

Deadpool & Wolverine is shaping up to be one of the biggest Marvel movies ever and a new batch of stills (which appear to have originated from Empire) have today hit social media.
In them, we see more of Wade Wilson's birthday party, a battle in the snow, the Merc with the Mouth exploring - and possibly fighting in - the Tva, a new shot of the anti-hero and Logan, and Cassandra Nova in all her intimidating glory.
There's also a great behind-the-scenes photo of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman suited up alongside director Shawn Levy.
The biggest reveal, however, comes our way in that shot of Deadpool and Mr. Paradox. Behind him, we see the Sacred Timeline branching uncontrollably, just like it did at the end of Loki season 1. However, at the end of season 2, it had taken on the shape of the tree-like Yggdrasil, suggesting Deadpool & Wolverine takes place before that.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is one of the most celebrated works of fantasy and has been regarded as one of the greatest films ever. Director Peter Jackson spent years bringing to life a novel series that was considered to be unadaptable. The final film of the trilogy The Return of the King won eleven awards at the Oscars, including Best Picture.
Many actors in the fantasy trilogy have gone on to become stars. While lead actors such as Elijah Wood and Viggo Mortensen became synonymous with their roles as Frodo and Aragorn, other actors such as Orlando Bloom, Liv Tyler, and Andy Serkis saw new levels of stardom. Bloom, who would go on to star in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise reportedly received a very low salary for playing the role of Legolas in the trilogy.

Tom Cruise lived and made the Mission: Impossible franchise a ginormous hit franchise with critical accolades embedded in its glorious cinematic journey over the years. However, Cruise was not devoid of any mistakes and the actor regretted killing off one actor too early.
Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible
Cruise’s celebrated action franchise created a legacy since the first Mission: Impossible movie was released in 1996 and Cruise’s titular character Ethan Hunt— an agent in the Impossible Mission Force (Imf) espionage agency lived on with a huge fanbase. Of course, the franchise has been a spectacle but the death of many characters over the years in the movie series definitely rattled some fans.

Lord of the Rings has shaped many a child’s life almost a century apart. Be it J. R. R. Tolkien’s literary series in the 1930s or Peter Jackson’s trilogies in the 2000s, the franchise has brought the world of epic high fantasy tales involving Elves, hobbits, kings, and wizards just a little bit closer to our fingertips.

However, while the audience and critics have been in love with Peter Jackson’s masterpiece, the filmmaker has been slaving away in his studio to come up with ways to make the world seem more realistic on screen, rather than a CGI-infested botched job. Sir Ian McKellen then gladly served himself up as the victim of the director’s experimentation.

Deadpool & Wolverine may still be a couple of months away, but Marvel Studios has been pulling out all the stops in recent weeks to build excitement for the highly anticipated team-up.
Entertainment Weekly is the latest outlet to sit down with director Shawn Levy and managed to get a few new details out of the filmmaker regarding his approach to what's looking like a long list of cameos.
"I'll say we didn't start off with a wishlist," he admits. "From the day we started devising this Deadpool and Wolverine story, we let the story dictate the characters, not the other way around. Aaron and his return as Pyro was an outgrowth of that, and that applies to pretty much all the characters you'll see in the movie."
This might be a sign to temper expectations, particularly when it comes to some of the wilder rumours out there about who...

Ian McKellen is one of the most respected and talented actors in Hollywood. Sir Ian McKellen as Gandolf in The Hobbit
Considering just how talented and successful he is, it is not surprising that the actor is offered many different types of roles. Sometimes that may be through lesser-known sources, and others they may be very high-profile projects.
It would seem that the actor was asked to be a part of Tom Cruise’s iconic film series, Mission: Impossible, being offered the role of Commander Swanbeck in the second movie. Interestingly enough, the actor rejected this offer due to one reason.
