Meanwhile J.C. and Becky decide to take a break from their relationship and see other people in order to explore what it�۪s like to date before committing to each other.
- At Gert's insistence, Bud buys her an "American Doll" doll and accessories for $800, maxing out the family credit card. Janice is forced to get a job as Ernesto's housekeeper, and Bud schemes to get her fired. Meanwhile, after Gert falls for the American Doll company's marketing scams, she seeks revenge.
