- Transpiring over 45 years and based on the internationally acclaimed memoirs of Pin Yathay, "Tu Vivrais, Mon Fils" ("Stay Alive, My Son"), this epic, immersive, and mythical cinematic experience places the Player in the shoes of a pained father, forced to make the gut-wrenching decision to abandon his 6-year old son to survive. Upon landing, the Player meets a fragile 80 year old man, represented by a digital human, only to discover demons haunt him for decisions made. Urging the Player to give him peace, the Player transforms into him and takes on his journey for atonement and healing. In a gripping "Alice In Wonderland" moment, the Player falls from reality and into a surreal and decrepit terrain. In its cavernous bowels, a mental prison exists, mirroring SS-21 the concentration camp. By solving puzzles, the Player learns about the murderous Khmer Rouge regime and bears witness to Yahtay's deepest regrets. Inevitably, by confronting the past and unlocking these memories, the Player experiences profoundly the decades of guilt and anguish Yathay suffered due to his family's separation, the labyrinth questioning and painstaking uncertainty of his son's whereabouts. Ultimately, the Player also realizes Yathay's will to endure the unimaginable fueled a deeper purpose to reclaim all that he lost by living. On a mythical branch, the Player is taken to a hardened heart, metaphorically represented by the wondrous temple of Angkor Wat to be reunited with his family. Love was the path to his personal salvation and hope his beacon of light that brings justice to his once ravaged country.
